Is there a way to toggle off what drops from jars/grass? I'd like to make it so that jars don't drop potions.

You can change the loot dropping from jars and grass in the .cfg file.

    Quote from ThatOneDCNerd»

Or add in a rupee counter like the games.

    Quote from smashbro596»

not gonna lie. emeralds kinda take up space in the inventory. plus they only come in one color: green.

the zelda series has WAY more colors than green for rupees.

    blue rupees are 5

    yellow rupees are 10

    red are 20

    purple are 50

    silver is 100

    and orange is 200.

i'd kinda like rupees to have a counter that doesnt take up inventory space.

    Quote from coolAlias»

You can thank TheLegendOfGroose for convincing me :P

If you think different rupees take up space, how does Link store them in one convienent place, *ahem* this guy.

You can easily do the same cos you can base the scripting off the Bomb Bag. Just add some tweaks to the new rupee system and the wallet and boom.

    Awesome! Glad I helped xD

Another random question: How is the magic mirror supposed to work? I've never been able to get it to work right, it glows reduces in durability and *poof* absolutely nothing except allowing me to hold right click on it again for more nothing... Is there a step I'm missing to link it with spawn or my bed or does it work some different way that's just going way over my head?

Magic Mirror: (As explained by coolalias) yeah, it pretty much brings you back to the entrance of a cave or large building. It dosen't send you back to your bed.

The Song of Soaring: The song, when played, brings you back to your spawn, as long as you have slept in it.

Good call - any of the breakable swords should be able to be repaired in the anvil, perhaps with an iron ingot thrown into the mix.

Do you think the repair cost should increase like on vanilla items, or remain constant so that they are infinitely reparable?

I think the repair rate should stay consistant because it'll get too expensive if you're constantly battling monsters and bosses.

First 1.8.9 version is out! And the shields render properly, both in the vanilla Minecraft hotbar AND in the Battlegear 2 offhand slots. =D

Sorry about the Curse link - apparently if you mark the file as a 'beta' it doesn't show up properly as the latest download link... even if it's for a different Minecraft version...

    1.8.9 v3.4: Initial update
Updated to Minecraft 1.8.9, Forge build 1.8.9-11.15.1.1902-1.8.9

    Added
+ Forge version checker support (untested)

    Changed
    - Sword beam slices through dekus like a hot knife through butter
    - Sword beam rendering made to look more horizontal

    Fixed
    - Shields finally render properly again, even in the BG2 offhand slot
    - Bomb item rendered incorrectly when dropped vs. thrown
    - Bombs in ceramic jars rendered partially in ground outside of jar
    - Ceramic jars could not be placed on glass blocks
    - Sword beam was not considered a projectile
    - Player didn’t swing arm when throwing ceramic jars

I am but compared to busting secret rooms in the Nether, Im getting less water bombs than fire bombs.

I double-checked and you're right, water bombs are slightly more rare. I've reduced the frequency of the fishing rod, fish and water breathing potion by 1 each which should make the bomb rate more in line with the Nether loot, though still very slightly rarer (x / 13 instead of x / 12).
