    if wands were to be replaced by a new era of artifact baubles, a possible replacement for all of the offensive thaumaturges out there could be a weapon hilt that accepts foci as socketed amplifiers. ie. pulling out your hilt, and suddenly vwoosh a sword/spear/bow crackling of void/vis energy appears. easy to wrap enchantment system around this kind of tool selection (foci manipulator). so while using a magitech/steampunk glove, thats been devised of your own theorems, you would stumble upon ancient artifacts from older times, and would be able to "rediscover" ways to manipulate your gauntlet, taking inspiration from the surrounding world and the artifacts you unearth. would tie in nicely with the new research system, encouraging people to explore to find new artifacts to unlock more utility/defensive mechanisms within their gaunlet, all the while pursuing the truth behind how the world ticks, how aura comes into play, and eventually perfecting the art of creating foci imbued memoralia/baubles. eventually delving into the void, cultists etc, finding the answers as to why the previous inheritors of the artifacts you've discovered have dissipated. or you could just keep wands :P

    I believe it follows a simple procedure. the name of the mod recognized by minecraft forge (ars magica 2 is am2 i believe) then the collin then the items name itself, using underscores for spaces. some items may also need to use a specific path such as am2/items/dangerous:magical_yankadoodledandyalizer (pls note: that item doesnt really exist, its just an example of a path location)

    what i mean is, some people come to the MINECRAFT forums for stuff about Minecraft. there are multiple other platforms more capable of carrying an argument than these [forums fully open to discussion from pretty much anyone in the world]. i mean seriously, my blind siblings dont want to come to some page to have a text to speech program ramble on and on about someones respect for another over the internet, because seriously, its the INTERNET! there is absolutely no respect for any stranger you meet up with on the internet in this 21st century. If you met up with some people from across the globe to talk a business proposition, and the person your talking to you have never met face to face, you dont know them at all and they just come out of the blue saying "hey dude, hey, i can make your business take off over here in South Korea (I mean no harm to south koreans by using them as an example), lets talk some more about it on here" you most likely going to have absolutely no respect for them. some people post random recordings of others over the internet, and the next day the mentioned random person commits suicide because of the amount of privacy and respect towards others on here. half the things you say on the internet to someone else you would NOT say to them in real life, its a proven fact, infact, its as much fact as the fact that babies grow moustaches while in the womb (I mean no offence to any babbies that do come out of the womb and see this). there is as little respect as there was to the chinese during the Australian Goldrushes, where the Chinese were labelled as "drug dealers" and "immoral" and "thiefs" (I mean no offence to any chinese seeing this). anyway im getting a little bit off track here, but my main point is this: if you want to argue about whatever it is you want to argue about, dont do it on a page dedicated to something else that was made for the beneficial value of people that want to learn about that, because you're pretty much labelling yourself as a "troll" and then someone will come and start an argue with you and people DONT want that here, they dont need it. and dont take this personally either, as i have been seeing plenty of stuff on the internet that just takes the enjoyment of the internet away from me, such as trolls or reading things i come to learn about but then reading someones argument, or reading hate directed at someone i respect, or reading about the crappy stuff about the world when there really is no place for it on the site that i am on. now I do believe there actually is a place for these discussions on these forums, such as the off-topic section, or when you just want to have a little chat with one individual, you can send them a personal message. but if you want others opinions, take it to another site that is made for that purpose. rage over.

    posted a message on Ores in EVERY kind of block! (Ores as Metadata) [Now with better Pictures/ screenshots!]

    I like the thinking behind this, but im not sure metadata can be used to store all the info that is on actual blocks. I mean, the only metadata using blocks i can think of is wool. they all have the same id, break value and such, they just have an extended number (the metadata) to define their wool colour. pls do correct me if im wrong though, as humans are known to make mistakes 50% of the time, the other 50% they dont make mistakes.

    Hmm... well animation api is a major dependency (the only dependency) so I wouldn't be removing it, but however there is the possibility that you could be using a version of animapi that is too old or too new, as this mod hasnt been updated in a while and was built around a certain version of anim to work properly. I myself have version 1.2.4 with am2 1.4.0.006 and it works fine. also some mods just dont work well really with other mods, a full list of them all in a spoiler (i see you have around 44 mods loaded, I am a nutter when it comes to mods and i grow private packs around 100+ mods :P). the full crash generally saved in a crash-log.txt is also useful (spoilers are very much appreciated).

    for DeadeyePT, it should generate a forge log inside the server location or client location of installation, they are txt files and inside the server package they are in the logs folder, just scroll her down to da bottom of the folder, bing batta boom fml server latest should be the one you want. the client side ones also are located inside the logs folder of the location blightfall is installed too, same dealio for the log obtaination.

    what about the other ships mod i mentioned? whats it called.... umm.... oh yeah. its Cuchaz Interactive Ships. they are pretty cool, with ship blocks that limit the size of your ship, the need for a paddle, or on bigger ships, you can make it use wool to get you moving. its weight based and very cool looking. ship projectors (makes a hologram of a ship) ship lists, ship erasers (for those naughty game breaking ships) and the max building limit reaches like 3000 blocks with the highest tier of shippage. the original recipes also make alot of sense as the very first one requires the terrestrial metal known as iron, so its very mid gamey. if it sounds interesting have a look and maybe support cuchaz (god i sound like a marketing advertizer) as he also is developing a modding platform for 1.8.3 with his own intentions to make it even greater than fml, and he is developing cubic chunks! I kid you not, the feature that gives almost limitless terrain generation by cutting up chunks and changing the way worlds load. it is an amazing mod and once its out of its alpha states I imagine it even picking up the lieks of mojang. soz foar the long post and advertisements :P
