Is that the Energy Beacons? If so, I have not. I'll see if I can figure out how to unlock that one; maybe I have to whack one or something.
Edit: There we go! Did a flyby with a hang-glider and got both. A bit confusing to have the one that requires you to get up close and personal before the one that only needs you to get within 16 blocks.
Haha, someone else made it awhile back. They posted it in here and I decided I'd show support and use it.
Edit to avoid double posting:
Isn't the Damaging Discharge entry in ChromatiCraft supposed to unlock when I get zapped by a pylon? It's still encrypted, even after getting hit multiple times by different pylons. I even died to one, and it hasn't unlocked. Do I have to unlock an entry elsewhere first? Running V6f.
Ah, alright. I didn't see any mention of it in the changelogs, so I thought I was just experiencing a bug. Oh well, I've found a fragment from a Loot Bag before, so I can at least count on occasionally getting one from killing mobs.
A MFR villager spawner near a pylon did not give any fragments either. Even letting a pylon kill myself did not give me a fragment.
I'm having this issue too. I got killed by a pylon and got no fragments. I let the pylon kill 2 villagers and got no fragments. My guess is that the GraveStone mod is interfering with it somehow; does your pack have that mod too?
Is there any way to disable the two green boxes and the tool cycling feature? It's extremely irritating to try moving along my hotbar while crouching, only to have my tool swapped out.
Hey Reika, the network I'm currently using has some issues with the site you use for version checking. The launcher always times out when it tries to access it. My load times increase from a couple minutes to over 10 minutes because of it; when connecting via a VPN, the version checking is handled quickly and the load time is normal again. Would you be able to either decrease the timeout for the version checker, since it's taking over a minute currently and is very non-essential, or add in an option in the DragonApi config to disable the version checker the next time you push out an update? Would be much appreciated! I'll be using a VPN to boot up in the meantime.
Wow, I thought some modders were abusive in the way they try to dictate how others can use their stuff, but forbidding disabling recipes? Seriously? Just imagine how pissed off you would be if Mojang suddenly decided to enforce the same kind of rules on their players and modders.
Some of your concepts looked interesting, but needless to say I'm gonna steer clear of this mod and whatever else you made and pretend they never existed.
This is mainly because of RotaryCraft, with lots of people complaining about how "OP" it is. The mod is balanced around itself, and disabling a machine can have larger repercussions. It's also a bit of a measure to stop the pay to win servers who would remove the recipe but allow players to pay real cash to get the machine, i.e. the Extractor. You honestly sound a bit bigoted when you swear off a whole bunch of mods because of one rule that doesn't impact gameplay; in fact, it's there to preserve the mods.
So does that mean that I need more than a gasoline engine to dig even a single block of dirt, or am I doing something wrong here?
You're going to want a lot more power. It ought to dig through a bit of dirt at that power, but I used 536 MW of power on an Efficiency 5 Borer to get it down to 0.05s operation time while still being able to mine deep down. The Boring Machine will mine so slow with a Gasoline Engine that you'd be better off using a TiCon hammer to mine; try using a Hydrokinetic and attaching a 16:1 diamond gearbox for speed to start off with, then move to gas turbines or Magnetostatics if you have lots of RF production.
And Reika, have you seen the Fusion Death Machine? Pretty funny alternative use to the Fusion Reactor.
I see what you meant when you said I wouldn't be able to get rid of the canola farm by going into bees. You made their flowers immature canola, and fully grown canola no longer counts.
I was about to ask if there was a way to remotely enable/disable mob spawner controllers, but realized all I had to do was have a light source next to the spawners and cut power whenever I wanted to disable them. Aside from the blaze spawners, but the mob farm is far enough away that I won't be spawning those guys by being in my base.
Ah come on, I had to dig through the class files to figure out how to make those bees jubilant and apparently it relies on the ambient temperature. I never would have thought of that. Time to go looking for the right place to house these bees.
I suspect that you can, by genetically manipulating the bees to use other flowers. I doubt it's resource-efficient though. It's probably not easy for bees to keep up with the output of a canola farm.
The server I play on has GenDustry, so I can not only custom make bees, I can also add in upgrades to increase their output. If I could figure out how to make them produce the canola seeds and slippery propolis, I could cut down on the size of my canola farm and use growth accelerating blocks on a small area instead.
Well I meant all of the fans I have, along with the floodlights lighting the long stretch. It's 18x36 in size, so if I could make it a lot smaller and just have some canola near the hives that would be preferable.

Also, I think I severely overestimated the lubricant usage of the new magnetostatics and underestimated my farms.
