I have my greenhouse, which yields an okay amount of wheat per cycle, but it's way more than I'll really need.
So why do we keep making such huge farms? lol

This is fun to do when throwing 3-4 full stacks of sand into a forge and lighting it on fire. It's like popcorn, only glassy.Quote from wolfx »This doesn't work for flint-steel but it does work for other useless materials:
When in the inventory, you can throw entire stacks away by moving them outside of the window.
Easier than pressing q a bunch. If you know this, good for you, if you didn't, you just learned something.
Yes, it is like popcorn. >.>

But you can use NBTForge to create a farm, and then plant the crops in it. Smart one.
you cant place tilled dirt, smart one...
you have to do everything yourslf in-game as of right now... this was done withought nbt forge. sheesh...
Sure, you tilled the dirt and planted the plants. But everything else was done with NBT. We can tell because there are "bushes" (leaves) right on top of the ground.

It's what I use for screenshots. It's awesome for MC and a lot of other stuff.
I agree that, unless ZomBuster used NBT Forge, he has the best farm. But how good is my greenhouse? :biggrin.gif:
Feb 7, 2010Mine is made to be a safe place for me to harvest my crops. I'm replacing the glass in the lower level with steps and then I'm gonna make a big floating area for me to go to to harvest seeds. The area under it is bound to get really dark and become a spawning area, but whatever. :biggrin.gif:Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single Player

That's my in-base farm. I had to use NBT Forge for when water decided to work and I needed sponges, though.
Here's me smelting the glass I needed for that, heh-
And here's that map for download- http://filesmelt.com/dl/Farm_Comp_6.mclevel
Feb 5, 2010Grass looks better than a lot of materials in my opinion. It floors my base, when I easily have enough rock or even wood or glass or something else to redo it. Plus it really is good for making quick shelter or filling in holes that mobs could come out of, or bridging gaps to walk across.Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single Player
Sjogras, it shows if the person supports it or not.

Feb 4, 2010Zerim posted a message on Mobs should not spawn on or near tiled placed by players.Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single PlayerQuote from diglett »Quote from Zerim »Maybe you could have some REALLY resource-expensive enchant that you can cast on blocks of gold or diamond that block spawns within an area. We do need something, though. Light is too random.
well, i think it shouldnt just be diamond/gold because you might not want to put one in your house ( i think they look ugly ), but light sucks because you end up having hundred of animals in your house :/
Slaughter them all.
Bam, get you some string.
