    I have installed all the mods on the Season 4 Let's Play page, except for the crossed out ones. I downloaded the Season 4 Finale Map, and used the configs from there. I have all the correct versions of the mods, but I keep getting this error. I have tried loading a new world/map, and I also tried using Dire's map, but to no avail.

    Prior to 1.3, damn near every dungeon I found had 2 chests. Some had 1, but that was due to obvious generation glitches.

    Here I am in 1.3 and I've run into 6 dungeons. Only one of them has had loot: a single chest.

    I haven't pored over the changelogs to find out if this is a new feature or not, but can someone who has read the changelog confirm if it is?

    Mods are generally the best answer for this. Either that or a server specializing in something different than regular Minecraft- As someone mentioned before, RP servers work pretty well for this purpose.

    If you're looking for any mods to try out, people before I have recommended the Aether, but I'd suggest the Technic Pack, because you can play Multiplayer with the Tekkit mode. I like it because there's so much more to accomplish than simply getting diamond gear and defeating the enderp dragon.

    A crane should definitely be there. A crane is very simple to make, and it'll add to the aesthetic value of your port city.

    Simply attach a stair block (facing upright) to the bottom of a matching block (stonebrick works best.) Attach iron bars in a chain-like formation to a crane base and there, you have a nice crane. You could even make several cranes, some in the act of loading/unloading a ship. You could also add crates (just big boxes of wooden planks) for even more aesthetic value.

    I dunno what is with all the hate on guns in MC. I know MC is mostly fantasy, but why can't we have old-style guns (Flintlocks and such?) I think as long as they were balanced properly, they could be a good addition.

    Anyways, I think that the worst thing they could ever add to MC is anything retarded in the suggestions forum. If you take the time to browse through them, you can really see how stupid some people can be. Either that or they add yet ANOTHER tamable mob. We really need more passive/hostile mobs. More diversity in mobs would keep Minecraft interesting.

    I like the idea of more weapons (honestly, I don't see why people can be like 'Minecraft only needs swords, durr.')

    However, why do we need animations for attacking? This is Minecraft, not Skyrim. We don't need to have attack animations, people are fine just as it is with a slash. On the flip side, I wouldn't mind having some actual animations.

    Some people might like having attack animations- however, they should be optional for single player only- some people have computers made of wood and refuse to get a better one.

    Yes, they can.

    However, if you use slabs (not double-stacked) or stairs, they will NOT spawn on them. But if you're using blocks in a roof-like formation, you should light it up as mobs MAY spawn up there.

    I recommend using fences and fence gates for windows instead of glass. It adds to the feel of the complex you're working on. I think glass would look too out of place in the jungle.
