    Very nice video Sea. You got your first pokemon long before I did. I was wondering if we could add the Pokemon cry's when we send out our pokemon, and have wild pokemon cry every now and then. Or would that take up too much data to have all those crys in?

    The reason he showed up is because the coast of that island for some reason shows the pokemon that were in the region you were in, when you last fought a pokemon. When you watch the old man catch a pokemon the data was stored to fight a fake pokemon, since the battle wasn't real, but just a scripted event. So when you surf the island coast afterward there is no pokemon to be found and there you find.. the Missing Number. Which is really just a jumble of code that is holding the place for something that isn't there.

    Also i was wondering if you could change the level of the pokemon by chunks generated as well as your personal pokemon's level. That would encourage exploration (Further you go, higher level they get) and give you some low level areas as well.

    In addition someone suggested earlier of using the millinare mod to make towns with gyms and pokemon centers. I would like to second this. Being able to place the healing table and pick it up in 1 hit seems OP, maybe make it harder to mine up, so you can't just carry one around. And making them blink on and off with the sound would be cool, but just as a side thing.

    Thanks again for such an amazing mod, you made me interested in minecraft again. Kudos sir.

    Will there be farmable Apricorn Trees?
    Yes, we are working on that for the next update.
    Pokemon have a really low spawn rate!
    Notch has changed how the spawn rate works and it affected this mod. We are working on fixing the problem for the next patch.
    There's not enough pokemon.
    We will be adding alot of pokemon in the next update.
    You should add [pokemon name]
    We plan to attempt to create the first 151. Please visit the forums for fan made models.
    This mod isn't working! [black screen, pokemon not showing on belt, etc]
    Many people have successfully installed this mod, you did it wrong.

    I believe there is a conflict somewhere in your mods, but I can help with a few things. In the pokedex, you scroll using the arrow keys. As far as adding to your party, you click and drag pokemon from your PC to the 6 boxes on the left. However, they should be added to your team immediately and made evident by boxes on the bottom left of your screen. So I believe there lies your main problem. And if it is that, I cannot help you.

    EDIT: I sometimes do... only when I'm so engrossed that I don't realize that there are people standing around me wondering what's wrong with me.... I think saying "Go!" is pretty cool actually.


    If you notice the Poll we are working on finding the right system for Pokemon Battle with moves. In additing, a few posts earlier you can notice that Sea made a twitter post explaining that he will leave it up to the fans for the other pokemon. Thank-you for using Pokemobs

    Great to hear about the community additions. I'm sure some die-hards will continue till we complete the pokedex and make the Prof proud. Another suggestion is adding the pokeball open and close sound effect when sending out our guys.

    btw, anyone else say "[pokemon] Go!" IRL, or is it just me?

    I think if you give them some sort of unique ID. It'll make it a Trainer Type pokemon instead of a Wild Allied pokemon, if that makes sense. You'd have to make it a different entity but then it gets a unique code that wouldn't overlap with a wild pokemon of the same type and level.

    I've been playing this mod for a little while and I'd like to mention 2 things.

    1. A problem: I have a level 4 Ghastly, I had it battle for a while, nicknamed it, and it gained EXP. Everything was going fine. Then I found another Level 4 Ghastly and tried to capture it. It worked, but it overrid my current Ghastly. The EXP was gone and the name reset, so that's why I think it was overridden. Not a big deal but I thought I should mention it.

    2. A suggestion. The healing table works great! I thought it'd be perfect if it changed color while healing, like in a real pokecenter. Just an on and off thing. I think the code for the furnace's effect should be duplicatable.

    Anyway, thank you for this awesome mod. I'll be playing it for a while longer and looking forward to updates and the eventual full release. (Also waiting for someone to make a cyndaquil, if possible ^-^)

    I don't know if its been suggested, but...

    What if we use the attacks as items, and put them in a sort of 'move pouch'. Let me explain, upon capture the pokeball will drop [pokemon's name]'s move pouch. When opened it shows 4 slots to the right of your hotbar. I think the keys should be bound 'z' 'x' 'c' 'v'. Upon reaching proper level the pokemon will drop their new move and you may put it in the pouch, if you already have 4 you'll be forced to get rid of one.

    There are some complications with this of course: 'Moves' shouldn't be able to be put into the normal inventory. what will happen if you open 2 move pouches. etc etc. And I don't know the difficulty of any of it, or if its even possible. I just thought of it and figured I'd share. Thank you for your time.

    yes. If you take the 2 min (generous) it takes to install this mod (5 if you include download, also generous) it will be broken when 1.8 is released, if you choose to download the update.
