    ALRIGHT! The mod has now been updated to work with Forge, adding tonnes of new, awesome stuff! Well, not really (Pretty much just fancy glass) but it does now work with SMP! Anyways, head over to Zenotek to get the download. I'll be building that site up to eventually replace this thread entirely over the next little while. While it doesn't have much yet, it has the framework I need to build around. Most importantly, it has a download link (and a donate button, should you feel generous). So yeah! Tell me what you think! Oh, the recipe for fancyglass is just using a burning chisel on glass. I also added stained glass made by smelting shards, but right now it just looks like glass for some reason. I'm working that out.

    Woah, guys. I'll add these to the big list of stuff to add, but at the moment I'm still finishing up getting this to work with Forge. Every time I think it's ready to go, something else comes up. Anyways, it's almost ready, and I've just about got a server-side version for this one too. SMP here we come! Also, I'm going to be building a website for the mod at www.zenotek.ca, and will also be hosting a server there once I get all this sorted out.

    News! Because forge is all annoying and whatnot, I am going to rewrite much of the code from scratch. This may take a while. Alternatively, it may be done before I get to sleep tonight.

    Yep. The archive has older versions, too, if you need those.

    Anyways, I've just been getting used to how life works here, so I haven't been able to do too much. I think I'm on my feet now, though, so I'm going to start learning how forge works. I need it so I can create infinite sprite indices.

    I've tried. It uses the same code as normal grass, I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyways, Like I mentioned on twitter, I may need to add dependency on Forge. I've singlehandedly passed the terrain sprite index limit. How is everyone with this idea?

    Is there a way to turn off that horrible grassy cobblestone issue? It's ruining all of my castle walls! A configuration file, perhaps...

    What exactly is wrong with the grassy cobblestone at the moment? I thought it was just occasionally not growing, last I heard.

    alright, I'm back, and doing some work on the mod. I'm also a bit busy with moving into University at the moment, though, so don't expect too much too soon.
    I'm also working on what could potentially become a new mod entirely, that is still very experimental and is incompatible with just about everything. It's sort of the opposite of this mod, changing the very fabric of the game itself as opposed to adding more stuff similar to existing stuff.
    Anyways, I should update soon, assuming I can survive the next few days. Please excuse me, I have to go start building the fortifications in preparation for tomorrow morning. If they want to dye me purple, they're up for one hell of a fight.

    I'll fix that void chisel thing.
    I think I'm going to make it so that you can get ice shards by chiseling an ice block, not by breaking it. It will result in a lot less terrible ice-related bugs.
    I'll try to add more functions to existing chisels over adding new chisels, yes.
    i don't think I'll make etched obsidian fusable. Inscribed obsidian has a few major differences when compared to etched, and sealing it wasn't so much a 'make it a pretty red color' as 'seal the ancient and malicious force unleashed upon the world'. I could make it so that burning chisels make red etched obsidian, though.
    Also, the stairs are made using the standard BlockStair class. They have the same weaknesses as any other vanilla type of stairs.
    I'll also fix the shards being in the wrong inventory page.

    New version out! 1.8.1 fixes the ice crash, and, by special request, adds a new pair of chisels and matching new Etched Obsidian. Using an emerald chisel on glowstone or lapis blocks creates Shards, which can be crafted with an obsidian grip to make the new chisels.

    Meanwhile, work continues on various netherbrick and netherrack bits, on cake-like-blocks, on a new door, on slingshots, on liquid milk, etc. As I noted earlier, I may be somewhat AWOL next week into mid-week-after because of moving. Don't expect to see much of me here during that time. I'll make it up to you guys by making a bunch of awesome stuff when I get back.
