((Uh no offense minecraft2, but you should really spruce that up because from what I've seen of the other apps here, including my own, it's rather...simplistic in comparison. At least a paragraph or 3 for the bio and a bit more specifics for the appearance. Plus, simply put, the rp is a bit more down to Earth. Well, I mean that as in there's not any otherworldly aspects and I don't think the OP is looking for that. That part I'm a bit more dicey on so take it with a grain of salt. The first though, listen very well on. It's just a general thing to keep note of with RP's like this.))

I actually was a bit shocked at her reply. Out of everyone I had seen, her cause was...surprisingly heartfelt. I already assumed there was a less selfish reason for her joining, but just how much she's for the true blue democratic America is a bit admirable. I scratched my head for a second and looked down and away, almost having shame on my face, but not quite. Part of me hoped she wasn't looking. Didn't realize how much people really missed those old days. Then again, the poor were always treated like this sadly. Probably just not to whatever extreme they know now where a group like this is so...welcomed by people like her.

Even then, the fact of how the past and the future weren't as different as this girl believed...I almost feel sad at the fact that, unlike me, she couldn't possibly know that her dream world...didn't really ever exist like that. "We can all believe in a world like that I guess..." I mumbled below my voice. I guess my fish out of temporal water situation is starting to becoming more apparent.

She then shifted subjects slightly over to the others. "I doubt they have, but isn't a bit early to start drinking? Gotta save the wine belly for tonight after all if Samson's taking us on this dinner, ya know?" I said smiling. "But, since I'm curious, what sorta places do you have in mind? This city's huge so there's gotta be plenty."

She gave a light giggle before saying that, unlike me, she wasn't voluntarily picked for the ALM. And then told me the interesting fact that she apparently was seeking getting accepted by them. So judging by that, I guess she;s either curious about the organization or some sorta freedom fighter as well?Curiosity there. Hopefully she's no extremist. But then she asked if I had any clue what would be going on tomorrow before walking over to the water cooler and asking if I wanted a cup. "Nah. I already had plenty to drink before coming over here. Gotta stay hydrated you know?" I said, double bumping my chest with my hand.

"As for tomorrow, I'm just as much in the dark about it as you guys. Could be anything, but it is our first mission. More than likely, it'll be something light in terms of physical labor." I said, before stretching ironically on the "physical labor" part. "Why is it you wanted to join the ALM so bad anyway? I doubt it's like certain other people here who are in it for the money if you were actively and persistently seeking it out." I said, chin once again put into my hand.

I may as well have gotten to know why they picked this place. Who knows? Might actually make me think a bit more on actually joining...maybe.

The little fact of her addressing that my appearance wasn't that of the usual candidate one would expect of an organization actually did strike a note to me. I looked down at myself quickly. Yeah...Kinda forgot about my current attire. I put a hand to my chin in that stereotypical thinker pose most did in the movies. "Hmm...Well I suppose it isn't quite that. *points her right thumb to the back with an eye closed* It's moreso what they wanted from me I suppose."I spoke aloud

I sat down upon a chair and put my arm to the back of it. I did my usual bad habit of a slight lean on it to give that more relaxed profile. "And the reason for that is simple actually-I'm a pretty top notch historian in all honesty." I said. I put my head to my chin once again and stared at the antenna girl for yet another moment. "Come to think of it, I most certainly could say the same for you." I said with a tinge of curiousity.

Giving a quick look up and down of her, she wasn't much different from your average girl. Outside of the antenna and the neon lipstick and skirt of course.

"So since you know my reason, why did you join the ALM? Or-" I said before stopping laying back on that chair and leaning in a tad closer. "Did they ask for you as well? Cause honestly having someone in that situation too would be kinda cool." I smiled.

((Nah, I say we shouldn't reboot yet. I've had rp's be dead for about a month before. They spring back up if you give it a bit of time. I don't think this one's quite dead yet because we still got the group for the most part from what I've seen. Just important people aren't responding atm. A.K.A-Ice and Block.))

"Damn...Always hated when people did that. Ruins the fun." I said as the antenna girl brought up the apparent filled in crossword. Then came a question that I honestly saw coming a bit. The question of why I was here. I simply shrugged and smiled. "Well, my mom and dad met one day, decided for some reason a kid was a good idea, and-*slight chuckle* Okay, in all seriousness, which do you mean? Why I'm here *points down* or why I'm *extends hand over the general area of the facility* here?" I said with my tone getting a tad more serious at the end of my statement.

"Sorry if I sound a bit wishy washy in that. Rather be specific after all." I said before leaning onto a nearby wall. I figured she meant the former, but who knows? Figuring out why she'd be joining the organization might be key. Though I probably coulda been a bit more...coy about it.

I pretty much decided there was no further point on staying around anymore. Wilson probably would agree after all((I'll edit it this later once I see Wilson's reply to what Pick Said)) and there was other things that needed to be taken care of. I walked through those large mechanical doors and scratched my chin. These next days were gonna be interesting....and probably not in the best way. I let out a mental sigh. I seriously needed to decide soon. This is all something I need to figure out sooner than later.

My mind then immediately noticed a familiar looking antenna girl reading what appeared to be a magazine. Kinda old judging by its appearance. Can't let the emotion show too much. I did a half smile and did a single nod of my head towards her. "Oh hey again. What're you reading?" Little bit of ice breaking...still not too shabby there Winona.

((Sorry. Had stuff to handle the pass few days and was swamped.

Recap: GerogeNinja's character was apparently heading towards a cafe because they were incredibly hungry during last post/their first post. Block breaker's character murdered a father and daughter in an alleyway and then his and Eripmav's characters went monster mode and fought for a bit, before they both transformed back and ran from the scene. You'd probably notice scratch marks and blood in the alleyway if you saw the scene. Entei's characte(Tyraxius/ basically went on a rampage and killed a lot of people before finding out where the two were fighting and trying to get involved. Violet's character went to a cafe as well, drink some ****, left, came to where the fight was due to monster urges and almost transformed too. My character soon came out, saw what was going on with the fight, watched it outside the alleyway for a bit, before hiding in an empty dumpster when he heard Entei storming on through(btw apparently he had thundering footsteps). He motioned for Violet's character to hide in an old library, which she did. Entei then ripped the hood off the dumpster I was in, destroyed a few cars, and put his head where Violet was to sniff around. My character then went over to try and get her out, almost went monster as well, but held it back while trying to get her out. Then Entei's char went right up to him, sniffed and stared my character down, before realizing I was a monster too. Left the building, transformed back and left a gigantic pile of goo and slime, and started running until eventually burning his clothes. Mine just sorta shrugged it off and walked, got into an alleyway where he found the corpses of the father and daughter and left basically traumatized. Oh and the MEF which I believe hunt down monsters is now coming around the area and basically searching it up and down. Btw, the police are probably gonna be coming by soon at some point, so there's that.))

I let out a sigh before going over to the window. I undid the locks on it real quick and shoved it open. And apparently the window wanted to thank me with dust in the face. Or remind me that it was there-either or. I covered my mouth but still ended up coughing a bit. "That sucks but *cough cough* not really my *cough cough* biggest worry at the moment." I vaulted out of the window pretty much right after saying that. Apparently it was higher up than I thought because I definitely didn't prepare for the land in time and only barely avoiding busting out. Man, if the cops were here, that'd be an embarrassing way to get arrested. I dashed down one block before putting my back to the left wall when I was right near the entrance. Did a quick peer out to the left and right like I'm some kid going through traffic and zoomed out, making sure to stay close to the deep parts of the sidewalk. I wonder if that "stay in the shadows" things I always see in games'll work this time?

After a quick second, I turned into another alleyway. If I was right, then this should lead me right near where the monsters first showed up. And I was right apparently. Congratulations brain. So as long as I keep switching alleyways...it'll be harder for them to either catch me or see me on surveillance.

But right as I had that thought, this smell came over me. This just...awful smell. It wasn't quite rotting but it was just...impure, I guess? I looked around and noticed the alleyway that held the shadow monster and blade monster from earlier in it. At this point, it didn't seem like either of them were there anymore. Long gone in fact. Did they leave something behind? Eh, risk of compromising myself but I don't hear anyone and screw it, I'm curious. I ran as quick as I could over to the alleyway they used to be in. Nowadays, I really wish I hadn't.

At first there wasn't anything. Just darkness like I expected from an empty alleyway. I let out a sigh. Damn dark. I knew the smell was still strong so this didn't make any sense. Then came that wet footstep. Sticky...Wet. Was it blood? Some fluid the monsters left behind? My face grimaced immediately. I didn't wanna make sure but I knew it'd be best to make sure at least. I took out my phone and shined the screen's light on my shoe. Yeah...bloo-Then I noticed it. That...mangled body. I could barely tell what or who it was with those...bones, flesh, oh god the cuts everywhere. I jumped back and felt my throat get immediately clogged, like someone just punched it. "Jesus christ..." I whispered. I knew it wasn't gonna be pleasant but god. This? Just...not something I wanted. I could barely tell it was some man, but I could tell. I...need to go. Just as I was about to go, I noticed another thing right outside of my phone's vision.

"Hmm? What is-?" This is where I regretted my choice.

I reeled back, hitting the wall behind me as my light went up to see what was near me. Another corpse, which wasn't surprising. But it's what I could...make it out to be that terrified me. Pink clothing, the size of the...body was fairly tiny-Oh god no. My lip just...quivered at the sight. Eyes were saucers as they just looked at that...broken body. That tiny destroyed body. I needed to vomit. I wanted to vomit. I felt tears just stream down. This...I couldn't think All I could do was hold my phone tight and walked out of that corner. That terrible, god awful corner. I needed to leave it. The moment I was right outside the entrance...I squeeze my eyes tighter than I probably ever had. "Just don't look back...You should know that."I muttered. There was only thing I knew for certain-If I could see my face at that moment, it'd be whiter than ever and look just...scarred.

I shrugged once again. "Eh, so? Just means a bit of an adventure I suppose." I said over to the sickly girl. After answering, I noticed the man who was looking around before announce his leave and bow. It took a second for me to realize I did the same thing when I first met Dr. Martin...Irony I guess. Seems like everyone is finally starting to make their leaves. I walked over towards the door before turning over to the group. "Well, we should probably all get going, shouldn't we? Standing around isn't gonna get us much more progress." I said with a smile. These people....I don't know them quite yet, but I need to know a bit more. "Me: Jarvis, I want you to do a search of each of the people here judging by physical attributes. Focus attention mostly on those who's faces we can see. And let me know when each has a lead or a notable identity. Is that understood?" "Jarvis: Understood Ms. Winona."

None of them would try anything dangerous...I doubt that. But for all I know, anything could happen on a mission. Not to mention, if I'm to act covertly, I need to know things about each of these people. Cover stories, info to keep note of, etc. However...I can't identify all of them. If I did, my association with them would be too obvious. We might use PTP authorized networks, but I still don't know if mega-corporations can access them. My eyes sprung up as if a lightbulb went off in my head. In fact...better idea. "Me: Jarvis, change of plans. Only identify Earthbreaker and the antenna girl." "Jarvis: Particular reason madam?" "Me: Searching everyone is too risky....We need a direct resource."

Those two...They were the ones I could probably get some info on. The antenna girl didn't block her face and probably doesn't have too much info that'd be incriminating for me. Still info is info. As for Earthbreaker...worse case scenario, say I saw him walking on a street, got suspicious and looked him up. There's still suspicion in me saying that, but to the right people? They should stop asking. Everyone else brings up too many issues and Kate has the mask...there's no way I could figure something out on her at this moment. I walked around the group. "Oh one second before we head out."

I went up close to Wilson. About a few inches away. "Hey...is it fine if we talk later? There's something I really need to ask." I said quietly, with a slightly nervous smile. Before mouthing "Privately." I didn't need to be pushy...But I need to at least make it known that I needed info, in a sincere way. And Wilson, outside of maybe Greeves, is my best bet for getting that info without throwing myself into hot water.

((Yeah, I noticed that too recently lol. I've actually been checking back seeing what else I missed.))

"Oh...Alright." The sickly girl apparently didn't think my clothing would be the best for her. Looking at her now, she had a point. She was much taller and skinnier than me so the chances of it working were slim. Even if it did, it'd probably look too big and yet too small on her. "Well, how's about this? I can help you shop for something to wear instead. I mean, we have time." I decided to offer. I felt a bit bad that she didn't have something to wear after all. Besides, I needed to make sure I had allies or at least people to be on good terms with.

I then heard Earthbreaker complaining about how his size isn't exactly easy to come across and get, and some apparent background on guarding a man's son for a gun deal. He then took out one of these apparent custom made jackets to better illustrate it. I closed my eyes "Fine, fine. I get it. Look, it was a suggestion is all. Not a command. As for the carnival, before. No sense in going after if we want to see the match. However, looks like we're going to have to shop before that." I said, before sighing again. This was becoming more of a pain than it should be.

"Going along with the masquerade mask sounds pretty fun." I smiled again. Thanks Kate. You had a point and honestly, hearing someone be more positive about the event sure as hell made things go by smoother.

I turned towards the sickly girl and shoved my hands into my pocket. "Well, all things considered, you can always borrow a dress of mine if you need to. I have a few that I don't mind lending out." I said, more curiously then anything. Weird...Why would a sickly girl like her not have at least something to wear? Was she poor too? I shrugged the thought off. Whatever reason it was, it'd probably be answered after I figured how and why they hired a girl in her health to an operation like this.

Before I knew it, I overheard the antenna girl announce her leave to the lift and say it was nice to meet everyone. Huh...She didn't seem to talk much. I didn't even know her name or "codename," which I already assumed half of us were using except for the more recognizable people. However, my attention soon went to the man in the trench coat who announced he didn't have any "nice clothes" either apparently. Man....Guy was tall too. Not as tall as Earthbreaker, but jesus. Back on topic-"Huh...Well, I guess that could work. *scratching my head* Okay, curious question. Why is it that none of you guys seem to have at least something somewhat formal? I don't mean to sound rude, but I just find it strange that you guys don't have something for it-just like a dress shirt, tie, and slacks or something." I asked.

I could understand that not everyone has luxuries, but it seemed a bit weird that they didn't at least have clothing that could pass as classy. Granted, I might just be underestimating the exact prestige of the restaurant, but still. A dress shirt and tie seemed commonplace...Especially for two men who seemed as old as they did.
