Do not spam this mod maker to update for a new version or give SMP support if it doesn't have it at this time. Just be patient and wait, complaining and spamming will only make him go slower....

I am no longer working on this mod!
As sorry as I am to say it, I cannot find the time to work on this mod anymore, and development has therefore stopped. I have tried many times to finish it, and it has never worked out. Sorry to everyone who was waiting for an update, I know that it will be disappointing.

This mod is based off of the game Mass Effect, and has (or will have) many of the features in the game.
The new features in this mod all start with element zero, a block that is very rare. The block will drop five element zero, which can be crafted into many things.

Things I will not do:
Add shops
Add companions beyond the wolf sort of thing
Add missions
Add ANY characters from the Mass Effect series

The goal of this mod is to have Minecraft and Mass Effect meet at some sort of medium. I don't want to make this a blocky version of Mass Effect. This should be Minecraft gameplay in a Mass Effect universe.

Also, since everyone's curious about the development progress of Frames, here's a little update:



It's a paving machine, because I got tired of paving my test world :smile.gif: If you look closely, you'll notice that I'm using the State Cell quite frequently - they are amazing for controlling simple Frame machines. If you're curious about the use of the Toggle latch, well... that's a workaround. Vanilla's handling of levers is currently causing them to pop off the frames, but since RP tiles don't have that problem, I just used toggle latches as levers.

I'm doing playtesting and tweaking things to work smoothly. There are a few changes, a couple of them big.

1) You can't feed a tube to the working face of a Deployer.
2) You can't feed redstone signals to the working faces of either a Breaker or a Deployer.
3) Stub tubes don't eject items. You have to use a Transposer or similar on the output if you want to eject items onto the ground.

These are pr5 changes and may not get backported to pr4e, but they're coming. I know a few of these will break some designs, especially #2, but the extend/retract cell that I used for the paver is likely to be very common, and it was full of undesired behaviors before this.

As I get used to using frames, and as the bugs get worked out, I'm starting to realize that RP Machine becomes centered around them when they're available. As a result, I'm making a few compromises to make frame machines easier and more successful to build.

We don't feel like answering the same question 500 times, either. And every time we have to, that's just more clutter that makes it harder for those who will put in the effort.

First of all, that's a simple error and the fix is mentioned in every thread where there's been a block ID conflict.

Second and more importantly, putting everything in big bold letters doesn't make people want to help you - it just depicts you as an attention-seeking jerk.

In other words, I'm less inclined to want to assist someone who does that.

You've got portal gun installed twice. Also, you don't need to use large font or bold. We can read it fine.
