Well, I already have lots of RP2 silver and now I only get the TE type because even the vanilla furnace produces TE-Silver...
For one, it's making TE silver cause your putting TE silver ore in it.
Secondly, Omnitools.
Thirdly, if #2 doesn't work, just live with it. They may not stack, but they can be used together in recipes. Including block forms. Which could probably help you turn them all into one type.
That doesnt help me when I am actually out mining. Or are you suggesting I just carry one with me? Its an avoidable problem - the lexicon *could* be redundant if the different versions of the same ores just didn't spawn in the first place.
You could turn one ore off, or just carry one with you, they are portable after all.
They don't stack. There is a difference. Its annoying. Thankfully they are interchangable, but it would be nice that mods using the forge dictionary actually used the 'principal' ore for world generation purposes.
You do realize this is also the thread for omnitools? You know about the lexicon right?
Hello, I have some nooby questions. Dont hit too hard. I just dont understand the whole ore/dust/ingot flood
Since I installed TE my vanilla furnace smelts a new type of silver ingot out of my silver dust
I could understand that TE smelts his own new type of silver ingot in its own machines but why the hell overwrite vanilla and IC furnaces?
How can I prevent TE to add yet another type silver ingot? exchanging in ore.dictionary is not really a good solution
Or how do I at least prevent TE from changing vanilla and other mods furnaces to produce TE-Kinda-silver
What I would like best is to have only 1 type of each ingot.
What is the benefit of having more than 1 type of silver ingot?
If the ore-dictionary already has silver ingot in it, then DONT add your own type. Is that not possible?
cheers
Why does it matter? They're interchangeable. There's no difference. Also, TE adds it's own silver ore. You may have been using that, instead of IC2 ore.
Technically, she hasn't, but at the rate things have been going without any feedback from her about even a beta version, it seems that your best option is to update to 1.5+ and add it in later if she updates sometime before 1.6 breaks the mod again.
Well, actually, I use 1.5.1 normally, and 1.4.7/1.2.5 FTB when I'm bored.
Actually, tconstruct's steel is uncraftable. You can melt down other mod's steels, and you can get tconstructs, so, "making it with railcraft" isn't actually making tconstruct steel.
Mekanism steel, and Basic components steel also work, and any forge mods w/steel in them probably do to.
The 1.4.7 version is not the mod you're expecting. It does not have the descriptive books or the smeltery, there's worldgen that you can't harvest and magically transformed into something else on updating. What bothers me the most is that "currently released packs" DOES include 1.5.1 for the rest of the world.
Redpower 2 isn't getting updated. You'd be better off looking for alternatives.
FryoKnight: Repairs need looked at for quite a few reasons. It does work; the damage bar is a dummy.
Really? I had no idea Eloraam had abandoned Redpower 2. Interesting. Glad powercrystals added rednet to MFR then. One of redpower's last unique uses has finally been replaced.
Out of curiosity, I already have a mod that generates a button of ores, what would happen if I added this mod that added these 2 extra worldgen items to my existing world?
I'm a little curious, does the mining tree literally pull ores up from beneath it to the point where after a while it stops working if there are none left and the ores gathered depend on what ores were beneath it or does is simply generate random ores around itself? If its the former then may I suggest a great way to use them would be on top of large hollow hills for all those hard to reach diamond and emerald stalactites!
Yea, the old tools that will be coming back haven't been added yet. But, you don't have infinite free diamonds, or easy ways of getting end-game level tools.
I'd request that people get over EE2.
But, sometimes, people are obsessive, and don't realize when nerfs are needed.
It's annoying.

Wands aren't fully charged when made, wait like 30 seconds, then try.

Ok, then that's weird. It's probably a bug, but TE is on 1.5.1 now, so 1.4.7 isn't maintained. For now, just follow step 2, or step 3.

Exactly. Build 304 is stable, and every IC2 mod/compatability mod, has been updated/updating to use this build.

Nothing. It'll gen, with both of em.

Forge gives you crashlogs.
They'll give out more info than the one you get when it crashes.

I'd like an answer to this question too.
