which version do you use? I use the Dev build 18 and i can craft all 3 books.
How to get the Books the normal Way (without crafting them)
you get Book 1 at you first start with this Mod.
You get Book 2 when crafting a Stencil Table (Blankpattern and Wood under it)
You get Book 3 by crafting a seared brick (or Block).
The recipies for Table and brink are in Book 1.
Ahh, that may be my problem, for one. I haven't been using that dev build.
Also, I never exactly tried crafting them on their own.
That would be 1.4.7, I can craft the 'Tinkers Log' en all the tools and tables etc. But no books so it's either a conflict with any of the other FTB Ultimate mods (which I have no idea how to check) or the 1.4.7 version didn't have those books yet :).
Then I think I broke mine or something. The only book I can craft and find on NEI is the Tinker's Log. Which doesn't really help. So I'm kinda with a brainfart here :).
I think you can only craft the first book. The other two, I know come from making a parts table (or was it a tool station?), and making a smeltry controller. They'll just pop right into your inventory. I'm pretty sure that's the only way to get them.
u can grow them in a room with really low sunlight blocklight dont matter atm
but they will only grow 1 bush and berrys if the room is really dark they will spread
oh and mdiyo dont know if it bc me have foresty instaled as well but a few ore berrys are spawning in trees S: think the game thinks tehre forest hives and put them in the tree @_@ but thats just a gueass bc me cant read code
It's an id conflict, it's forestry's problem, no idea why, but they happen to have made it a little too accepting of having it's blocks/items modified. Meaning, you won't get an id conflict error, forestry's ids will just be overlapped. Simply change the ids to fix this. (Had the same problem with ICBM, and more swords.)
Can someone provide me the crafting recipes? The pictures on the main page seem broken, and I cannot find them on the internet. The only ones I found are the old ones. Also, I can not find Titanium on the over world! I am going down below layer 30 but to no avail.I am only finding tin and copper.
Titanium isn't in the mod anymore (I'm pretty sure). With regard to the recipes, try following the link on the new site to the old one, the recipes on the old site are up to date. You could also use NEI, Craftguide, or Recipe book.
Hey guys can someone answer my questions pls? about the ID's i want to use this mod
Go to the config folder, and open up the config file for the mod's ids that you would like to change. I'd suggest deleting saves that contain stuff that you change, it can cause glitches.
As for finding out what ids you have/have left, ID resolver can do that, but it's got a lot of incompatiblity issues with APIs, so try NEI, which is one of chickenbone's mods. NEI has a feature called an ID dump, it'll tell you what ids you've used.

Might give it a try.
