Awww, it's sad that dolphins can't ride boats anylonger.

That would be awesome.
But not music, just sounds. Wind for desert, other wind for ice plains, insects and birds for plains, more insects and birds for jungle, frogs and mosquitos for swampland, and so on. -

Unfortunately it's still unplayable for me.
The last playable snapshot is 18w16a. All the later ones crash on launching or just don't launch at all.
When will this be fixed, Mojang? -

I would also appreciate dolphin armour just for the coolness factor.
And I want dolphins to be able to use TNT. -

(Apart from the weird look...)
Oh, and I never liked that "Show your creation" is so far down. I always thought, it should be one of the most important subforums.
Anyway - I don't see a reason yet why we would need another forum.
Can somebody explain it to me please? -

I've always been creeped out by the abyss of time. I'm not afraid of spiders or tight places or heights or flying or darkness, but to think about aeons of time makes me feel uncomfortable.
But: At 7:38 the moon will not exist anymore. It has been burned together with the earth when the sun went into red giant state. -

And new minerals, ok.Hope, we'll get some great texture artists to make beautiful versions of them soon.

When I try to run the program, my computer tells me it's not compatible with my Windows version.
I run Win7 on an x86 platform.
If you are still around, would it be possible to update your program and also provide a version for Win7 32bit?

Screenshots would have been nice...

Which MC version did you use for creating that world?
Because I do get this terrain when creating in 1.12, but not with the newest snapshot.
(My 1.12.2 always crashes for some reason; I might have to delete and redownload it, so I don't know what the result would be in that version.)
And what are those ladder symbols?

Yes, I think I am in the wrong forum.
I wasn't aware that the "Minecraft" subforum refers to the bedrock edition.

This is a seed of a survival world I've been playing already but which has become even more attractive with the upcoming oceanic update.
You spawn on a small group of islands with all you need for start. When I spawned there, there were sheep, cows, pigs and turtles. Maybe even a chicken - I can't recall.
Close to spawn is an ocean monument.

(Sorry for potato quality of screenshot.)
If you go north you will come to an island with a mountain peak and a lagoon. Most of the island is Flower Forest biome which makes it very pretty.
(Base not included in generated world.)
At the open end of the lagoon there is a surprise ocean monument. It doesn't appear on mapping tools that derive the location of possible structures from the seed, but it does exist in the generated world. (In an older MC version it didn't generate, but there was an area where guardians spawned.)
Right behind is a beautiful coral reef.
Here you can see the entire area: Spawn, monument 1, flower forest island, and monument 2 + reef added by myself:
For whatever reason Mineatlas distorts the proportions a bit. The islands are actually smaller and further apart. Monument and reef, however, are very close to the island.
North-west of this place stretches a long ocean biome with numerous small islands and monuments.
The islands have different biomes: two larger ones have desert and savanna, the smaller ones have plains and forest. I even found horses and cows on some. Poor things will forever be trapped there I fear.
So far I found two underwater ruins in the area one of which contained a chest.
That structure is rather far out, though. About 1000 blocks from 0,0.
I haven't found shipwrecks yet, though. But the area is large, so there could still be some.
Bonus pic: Very sturdy sea grass.
Have fun!

Pictures would be nice.
Edit: Checked out the seed. At the given coordinates there is a savanna and no cave nor flower forest. Please check the coords again.

Hi,
I would like to replace the water blocks or lava blocks in the little lakes with another block type. Using the normal brush only changes the terrain underneath the liquids.
Can anybody give me a hint how to do it? Is it even possible?
I tried "Fill" but it was a desaster. Maybe I did something wrong, but if would simply fill out all the areas that had the same block type as was under the liquid, e.g. all sand. And I'm in a desert. Entire map got filled.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Well, you could simply ask the person who put this video on YouTube which pack they used.

I also want to report a minor bug in Lithos v1.15:
Gold Sword icons are not showing the Lithos texture, but the default texture. The other gold items are fine.

Thank you. I will try that.
You know what would also be helpful? A list of things to find in every area.
Not a hint to WHERE they are - just a list of what is there so that if you miss something you can go and search for it again.
Like:
"Area XY
1 Treasure chest
2 enchanted book chests
1 wool chest
3 emerald chests
1 surprise thing"
or something along these lines.
Maybe even only "Area XY - 5 chests including wool and emerald, 1 surprise".
Because I'm not certain whether I got everything. ^ ^

Hi!

Thank you for making the beautiful Corona Trials map.
Ich have only visited Winterbound and Morrow Cavern yet with a little peek into Aurora Valley, but I'm already impressed with the sheer awesomeness of the landscape.
Now, I'm totally new to adventure maps. I'm not the combating player, more an "I build stuff" player who only goes after mobs when in iron gear or better. ^ ^
I already died several times.
Once I died because I fell from the top of one of the waterfalls in the Morrow Cavern onto a lily pad. That's a safety hazard, man!
I have a question though:
How does one use the enchanted records? Do I just take them into my hand instead of a sword? Is that actually an improvement? Attack strength is lower than a stone sword.

Hello, texture artists,
I've searched for a rococo themed resource pack and found exactly one. It's from 2012 and only exists as preview and has never been released.
Now, since the rococo is a visually interesting area, it's a pity no RP in that style exists.
I would like to create one, but I'm not a visual artist at all. As in: I can't draw, I can't color and shade, I can't pixel art.
I can come up with ideas and I might be able to learn how to make 3D models if that's necessary, but that's not enough to make a resource pack.
Is anybody of you interested in starting such a pack with my help? I'm not saying "in cooperation with me", because I'm afraid my contribution will be smaller than that of the actual texture artist.
But maybe there is a lover of rococo out there who simply didn't have the idea before and now thinks "That's just the project I would like to start!"
A short brainstorming has made me come up with the following ideas:
At first, it's not necessary to make a complete pack, since many things like plants and animals didn't look much different in the 18th century than they do today.
Therefor I suggest making it an "Add-On" for either Default or an already existing resource pack whose creator permits it. My personal favourite would be the Lithos pack here.
Second: The following blocks could be altered to provide a rococo feeling.
Items:
It would be nice if the pack altered the blocks in such a way, that one has a good selection of materials to build both fancy palaces and peasant huts in the same world.
Soooo... Is anybody up to that?

Ah, yes, I thought so, but I wasn't able to find out how to do it exactly.
Have now finally found the instructions.
