This really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. For one, we already have enough ores. There are soooo many ore suggestions. Mojang is not going to introduce copper, tin, steel, mythril, adamant, cobalt, and all that kind of thing. Why? Because they aren't needed. This oxygen ore makes even less sense because you can either
Come to think of it I haven't died by anything other than my own stupidity since Beta. On topic, the worst time I died was when I was building my standard 9x9 wooden house on the first night of a new world (thanks, Direwolf20!) at around Beta 1.5. I had found a lava lake in a forest and decided it'd be a good idea to put my house next to it.
It wasn't.
As I finished building it was night and I heard fire. I was confused since the lava lake was far from my house, but when I went out I saw that fire had carried over from trees and onto my house. Panicked, I went in my chest and took what little I had and tried to run. I then got shot by a skeleton and knocked into the lava, destroying everything I had.
Lesson learned? Don't build wooden houses next to lava.
There should totally be a Dü Weldenvarden (I hope I spelled that right) biome, and maybe a Beor Mountains biome! That would be awesome!
An area about it would be nice but it may conflict as a biome because there would be multiples of certain areas. If they are generated once per world like strongholds used to be it would make sense.
Question: Is this mod multiplayer compatible? I know a few friends who are fans of the books as well and it would be fun to play with them whilst using the mod, I think.
On my current modded world (Tekkit) I use Equivalent Exchange to get my diamonds so I have quite a lot. I couldn't give an exact figure. On vanilla, the most I've had at once is around 38 before the world was deleted.
I just came up with one reason this might be useful (I'll add it to the OP).
I'm using ThaumCraft 3. As I discover new elements, I add them to a book. I know which page each is on but it takes very long to get there if I'm adding a new one. Simply clicking on the last page would be a great way to get there fast.
Hello. If you're like me, you love to write books. Whether it be the locations of things via coordinates, or simply writing fiction, writing books is fun. However, there is an issue I have with the writable books. As you know books can have fifty pages. This is fine except for one problem: all the clicking! If I bookmark a page at 37 or so, I have to click over 30 times to get to the page.
Here's my solution: Add a Table of Contents. Have a small button to the right or left of the book GUI that says "Table of Contents". When you click on it, it brings up a page with no words but numbers of pages. Scrolling over a number highlights it. When you click on the highlighted number you are instantly brought to that page in the book.
One example of how this could be useful: I'm using ThaumCraft 3. As I discover new elements, I add them to a book. I know which page each is on but it takes very long to get there if I'm adding a new one. Simply clicking on the last page would be a great way to get there fast.

Anchor text idea by Badprenup:
Not bad. It might also be nice to be able to "anchor" text with a special code (§ + a). For example, let's say you are writing a journal that usually only lasts one page per entry, but occasionally takes two. It would be nice for a new special code that copies that text to the table of contents entry for that page. Like so (pretend this is on page 7):
Day 147
Blah blah blah Creeper explosion etc.
Then you could add a new special character that would take all the text from when you entered it to when you enter it again, or until the end of the line:
§a Day 147
Blah blah blah Creeper explosion etc.
Then if you opened up your table of contents it would look like this:
Page 1
Page 2
...
Page 6
Page 7 - Day 147
You would be able to do this multiple times for notes on a page or something. So if you did the same thing on page 7:
§a Day 147
Blah blah blah§a Creeper§a explosion etc.
The contents for page 7 would be:
On the topic of the dragon running real fast, it seems to slow down as it grows older. It's slowed to a trot around my oasis and it no longer jumps all over my crops. Now he can sit down when I click on him with a bone and when I can the saddle can be placed.
One last thing: how do you get dragon scales? Diamond Shears.
I don't have any unorganized chests. All I do on the second day is grab my axe, get 64 logs, and craft enough chests to fill a storage room. It's a foolproof plan and it gets you far.
Seriously, every time I see someone's chest is just a mess I cringe inwardly. Then again I'm the same person that made his house in a cave and smoothed out every single wall to form a giant 3x3 tunnel.
All right, thank you Taklok! Also, one last thing, this may be a bug. I found two brown temples within a stone's throw of each other while out adventuring.

This one is currently my favorite.
Whenever I go caving/mining, I listen to the dungeon music. I'll admit it actually makes me unnervous when I look down an abandoned mineshaft.
