How do you get the sand from the side to fall. By my presumptions only the middle colomn will previal to gravity. It looks like half a minehour is gone.
Its not exactly cheating, more like getting the materials to build it faster then normal, like an augmented structure...maybe. And you can decorate beyond your dreams.
I don't have a utube account...yet. Ill get one but its just a block going up and a trnech going into it and then you remove the block and put signs. I improved the design so it works better.
I noticed that today too since I also made my first mob trap.
The upward flowing water was annoying to correct in my design. Water physics are awesome but they still confuse me, especially when I wanted a whirpool like collection area for my trap.
But I have lots of feathers for arrows now.
Oh BTW in case you didn't know, if you use windows, go to your inventory while collecting your mob trap drops.
Then you can browse these forums (or anything else) while still getting the drops. I'm pretty happy that I'm collecting more feathers & creeper dust while I type this.
I knew that when I wanted to pass night but also wanted to browse the forums. The upwards flow helps me because it directs mobs into where i want them..the looper which used to be a ride but then boats kept breaking so i used it for a mob trap.
13 is a very unlucky number but I found diamonds+redstone+iron in one shaft (first diamonds) That layer gives you a good view from ABOVE lava lakes so you don't get burned.
I was making my mob trap and just found out that you can make water travel upwards! I didn't know this before. The trench is two blocks under and it hits the sign and flows up into my looper.
As you can see it flows upwards. The water isnt coming down/. I tested it and blocks travel up. I'll have to make a video!
