Is there an ETA on server opening because this just seems so fun.I haven't gotten into a good serious roleplay in a while and this seems perfect.
They haven't given a specific ETA, but I'd expect within a day or two they should be good to go. Without knowing all the plugins, the scope of the town (decor, buildings, interiors, items in chests, stuff around town, roads, etc.), where we stand with the idea of having a server website, custom-made plugins, banners, and all the other things that I don't know of then it is very difficult to say.
Please be patient with us, we're adding in a lot of things for you all. But we have been in a rush lately and I promise that if everything goes well it will be up soon.

I could see the mods being a bit iffy of the high degree of control over armies, and the prestige stuff, but I think others here have already had more elaborate stuff along the same lines who have been accepted. You should be fine overall.
Just a quick question, since my application mentioned my character heard many myths through out the years (Some examples are the myths of golden apples that could heal all wounds, portals that could send you to the nether, and so on), can he talk about some of these myths in the game?
I don't see why not. Your character read lots of stories, and this is partially what is driving your character to these lands. Your character has the knowledge of special, mythical items of legend. I suppose if you don't elaborate into raw specifics then its okay. Remember: legends only speak of the broad story and not the finer details, meaning that your character shouldn't know exactly, step by step, how to construct a nether portal. Rather he should know of a story retelling of the existence of such portals, and where they may lead. (Maybe the story was wrong? Maybe you heard these portals could take you to the Aether? Maybe they exaggerated the harshness of the nether?)
so we can only learn the skills that we have on the class posts right? like archers can only know repair unarmed and bow?
Well for example I'm going to be a dark mage, and here's what it says dark mages can do:
Dark Mage
Spells:
Fireball: Cause a flame to erupt at your target.
Arrow: Launch an arrow of dark magic at your target
Magic Force: Push enemies backwards.
Class Ability: Inferno - Creates a large blaze.
I said in my app that I was "taught in the ways of the dark mage" to be a bit unspecific, but I could've elaborated some.
I could've said I learned how to use a bit of fire magic, a bit of shadow magic, and arcane magic (Just assuming that Magic Force would fall into the 'Arcane' category since it it isn't of a specific element).
I could not, however, say that I mastered the art of wielding fireballs, shadowbolts, and other offensive techniques.
That's the key issue there; do you have an absolute mastery or a high proficiency with this or that skill when coming to Immortalus? You shouldn't is the answer. You know some of this, and some of that, but as far as your class goes you're just a newbie fresh off the boat who requires much refinement.

Character Bio: A young man who loves to hunt in the woods with his friends, he usually wears deer skin clothing so that he is able to sneak up on wild animals easier.
Character History: Sam was born on his fathers cattle ranch in cratisha,his mother died of the flu when Sam was just four months old. He was taught by his father how to be a cattle farmer; how to milk the cows, give them food and water, and how to slaughter them from when he was seven years to thirteen years. Then, on his fourteenth birthday, he said to his father, "father, i don't want to be a cattle farmer. I don't want to milk the cows, feed the cows, and slaughter the cows. I want to be a hunter. I want to chase wild deer through the woods, and track rabbits through the bushes." then his father said to him "well, sam, my boy, i cant tell you what you want and don't want, but i can tell you that i know nothing of weilding a bow, or chasing deer, but i think i know some one who might." and so Sam's father took him to his good friend jeremy, who used to be a master of the bow, before he retired from a wound to his leg after falling off a small cliff. Sam's father said to Jeremy, "my friend, my son wants to be a hunter, but I know nothing of the bow. Will you teach him?" and Jeremy said, "of course! Have you forgotten after all these years that you saved me from that pack of wolves?" and so Samuel was apprenticed to Jeremy for many years, training with the bow untill he could hit the bullseye nine times out of ten at a hundred yards. You're not "too powerful" I think...
I'd say its probably that you've got "kickass archer status" rather than just having "basic archery skills." The admins said that everyone has to be on an even level of more or less nothing at the start of the server, save for racial bonuses and class skills and whatnot.
Other than that... maybe grammar/punctuation stuff?
None of your quotes start with capital letters. Some sentences seem a bit longer than they could/should be as well. For example:
He was taught by his father how to be a cattle farmer; how to milk the cows, give them food and water, and how to slaughter them from when he was seven years to thirteen years.
This could probably written instead like this:
"Taught by his father from ages seven to thirteen to be a cattle farmer Samuel learned to milk cows, to feed the cows, and to slaughter the cows for market."
Sam's father said to Jeremy, "my friend, my son wants to be a hunter, but I know nothing of the bow. Will you teach him?" and Jeremy said, "of course! Have you forgotten after all these years that you saved me from that pack of wolves?" and so Samuel was apprenticed to Jeremy for many years, training with the bow untill he could hit the bullseye nine times out of ten at a hundred yards.
Separate sentences amidst a quotation do not break up the sentence they were contained in. Therefore the above can be read as just one continuous sentence.
Here's my suggested alternative:
"Approaching Jeremy, Samuel's father spoke, "My good friend; my son wishes to know the ways of the hunter, but I lack skills in the ways of the bow. I ask you, would you teach him what you know?" Smirking, Jeremy replied "But of course my friend! After all these years, after what you've done for me, how could I not? I still haven't forgotten about the time you rescued me from that wolf pack, haha!" In the years that followed Samuel was pushed to his limits, training day after day under the guidance of Jeremy. Samuel trained and trained until he was able to hit a target nine out of ten times at no less than one hundred yards."
My suggested alternative has broken up that long sentence you had. This may also be the part, particularly the last sentence, the mods/admins were having an issue with.
Remember, if it doesn't sound good when you read it aloud then it isn't good on paper (or in this case computer). Just read it aloud. Remember that commas, periods, etc. are there to end things and give those pauses between statements you would hear in conversation as well as to add emphasis.

As for people waiting, I'm not so sure. Firstly, I do not have the patience to mine enough Obsidian to go to the nether, or perhaps i reallyneed 10 netherrack for my ultimate fortress of doom. Secondly, Demons could ensure a monopoly by destroying all the nether portals (If they work) they can find. (Fine, I'm giving them ideas, but really, I'm sure we can strike a deal ;D)
You know, I'm really starting to feel my character needs a mustache on the skin to represent my deviousness.

Assuming the demons are looking in the nether for the portals and destroying those ones, then wouldn't players in the normal world just need to reignite the portal in their home to get it working again? Even if they popped up in my home and dismantled that portal instead (which would count as griefing me thinks) I could always just get more obsidian.
