    I can think of two reasons. The first is that they changed the despawn rate, and the other one is that the flame burns the drops for some reason.

    Any pictures available? or more information about the trap?

    Hi and thanks for opening this post.


    So basically I'm on day 63 of my umpteenth survival world and I thought I would challenge myself and design a military-themed base.

    It turned out that my "base" was simply a scaled-up sandstone tank.

    Both the interior and exterior look boring and flat:

    This is how it turned out... :(

    I tried experimenting with a kitchen design ↓


    ...But that didn't work out either.



    Please answer... I know a lot of you are pros at this kind of stuff and both tutorials and comments are OK.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this look good?

    What we have gotten:

    • Ocelots (Not yet completely confirmed, but @darngeek posted the following tweet:

    so it seems likely that we will have cats and ocelots.)


    Minecon has been a great chance for us to get a look at some 0.12.0 gameplay, and the following video showcases a few of the features (you can hear Tommasso in the background).



    Onto the new confirmed features:

    • Fully functional Nether(9 supporters) == We are already getting ready!
    • Fixed Ghasts(3 supporters) == we need to hear them scream
    • Potions(5 supporters) == We already have the effects, why not?
    • More mobs (12 supporters) == We need so may more...
    • Weather(?)(1 supporter) == Not imperative, but aesthetically nice.
    • Music(3 supporters) == Again, not imperative, but aesthetically nice.
    • Hunger(2 supporters) == We have way too much food.
    • More Blocks(3 supporters) == Would be nice.
    • New Dungeons
    • Controller + keybard support
    • Left Hand(New GUI)(2 supporters) == make combat a bit more challenging.
    • Anvils
    • Experience
    • Sneaking + Sprinting(5 supporters) == This will make survival so much easier.
    • Enchantments(2 supporters) == Once again, the devs haven't released anything about this.
    • More mobs (12 supporters) == We need so many more...
    • Exclusive PE features(2 supporters) == Just like the Nether Reactor, but something that isn' a watered-down version of a PC feature.
    • More bug fixes(2 supporters) == Of course.

    What we What we want in the next update:

    • Redstone ported from byteandahalf's C++ mod(8 supporters) == The official sources haven't released anything about redstone being in 1.0.x.
    • More bugs(2 supporters) == *sad sigh*
    • The End(3 supporters) == We should get this, we already have most of the features necessary.
    • Realms(2 supporters) == Discontinued since 0.8.x, but we jave both Tomas Alaeus and Shoghi Cevantes working on it.
    • Higher world height limit(?) (5 supporters) == We could build so much more...
    • Mod Support (Unclear whether this is meant to mean .js mods, .deb mods / .dylib+.plist mods, or native mods) (3 supporters) == PC needs this too.
    • New Shaders(3 supporters) == Would make the game beautiful.

    When we'll get it all:


    I can't say for sure, but the earliest beta for 0.10 was released on 10/17/2014, and the earliest beta for 0.11 was released on 4/9/2015.


    Given that the time between those updates was 174 days or 5 months 23 days, I'd say that the next update 0.12 will be released around October this year.


    This might seem like a long time (6 months) but we've alredy gotten through the first 2 months.


    It's a long wait, but this does mean that we only have to wait about four months until the next update, yay!

    The MojangTeam videos on youtube with "1.0.0" features are completely fake. This has been confirmed.

    You're missing the whole point of this thread.


    You're supposed to look at the original post and then discuss about the actual update.


    Not features that have already been confirmed.


    "Why don't we have rabbits when we have their feet" or "The latest build doesn't work on my phone" would be valid comments.


    No need to tell people to go and look at the Wiki in such an aggresive way.

    By the way, TheNebularDragon has asked for his supporters to quote what he says, so I'll quote him.

    However, when you wish to quote somebody, leave a comment saying what you liked about the statement, so I can easily update the post to encompass all opinions.

    Im thinking that this will be added in the next update 0.12.0

    -Nether

    -Potions (The reason why they added potion effects I think)

    -Ocelots(I think thats why the fish is added)

    -Nether-related stuff(Soul Sand, Nether Warts, etc.

    -Potion making blocks(Brewing Stands, Cauldron, etc.)

    -Redstone-related items(Levers, Buttons, Redstone Repeater, etc.)

    Now this is what i want to be added

    -Resource pack support

    -Mod support

    -Many more version exclusive items(Idk random stuff like vases)

    -Version exclusive mobs(birds,lions,aliens XD)

    -Raising the height limit to 256

    -Music and ambience(tweeting birds, howling wolves when night is beginning, roosters in the morning)

    -More food for easier survival

    -And finally HATS! Hats in game that you can craft

    Forgot to add sprinting and sneaking to my list

    (Those baby zombies are a pain in the neck)

    It (redstone) will not come out in May 100% sure.


    Why? Because May is over.


    On a more serious note, the devs have stated that they are thinking about porting byteandahalf's redstone c++ addon directly so it is highly possible that once byteandahalf finishes his code, the devs will port it. Consequently, a logical release would be in 0.13.0 or the update after the update after the next update. We can deduce from past release dates that 0.13.0(?) will be released in April of 2016.

Also, the byteandahalf redstone code porting thing is all but officially confirmed. byteandahalf has said that the official devs are looking into porting his code, and he is personal friends with many of the devs including shoghicp. Therefore, I think it very likely that the redstone c++ code from byteandahalf's addon will be ported to mcpe.
