I'd feel much more honored if you'd actually ever told me where the hell it was.

And with that, Delthyn and Hybran, the two other active regulars, are gone. Hell, all I do is AFK at this point.
I guess that's goodbye for me too.
Thanks to cam & com for running the server.
I too have left my valuables for people, enjoy the parting gift. I'm leaving my property to Red.

    Bye y'all!

I'm still all for Hyst and Eris as new people, so long as Delthyn is willing to play nicely with them (>_>).

And so long as Camcam doesn't mind letting in new people off of voting versus pulling other more-or-less randoms from the old applications thing, because that's worked so well >_>. I'm only gonna do 3 people for this; being Hyst, Eris, and Simu.

Hyst and Eris are good people, not too argument-prone, and generally bored enough to be active members. I know Hyst has some votes besides mine in favor of her, not sure what everyone thinks about Eris. Can't speak for Simu since I really don't know him outside recent events and seeing him in streams now and again, but after Baked's interpretation of his personality versus actual commenting language used, I'm not optimistic. Not to mention he might not want to join, even if Hyb is considering quitting/quit.

Edit: Gonna make a tally. So far voters are me and DjessNL, so cast your votes too. To people that are here, do a thread post, and I'll poke people that don't read the thread later. I just don't want everyone's vote getting lost in like Skypespam.

    Hyst Yes -- 3
    Hyst No -- 0

    Eris Yes -- 3
    Eris No -- 0

    Simu Yes -- 1
    Simu No -- 2

Voters so far: Me, DjessNL, Bly

Voting Eris and Hyst. If you're actually going to add people... >_>

On another topic, I think there should be a limit on how many of a certain mob someone can farm because it can cause some serious lag soon since everyone just spams wheat/carrots/seeds/etc.

Yea, I nearly broke the server yesterday by leaving my chicken farm on breeding mode while I went to class. Ya gotta be careful.

Don't add people. If you must, add someone who won't pick fights with Hybran.

Punishments have been dealt, now stop caring.

Still hadn't finished pranking you back for the flag. Prank me once I prank you twice. Plus you did spawn a Wither under my base.

However, if you're going to whine instead of just planning on how to prank me back, here's some help:

Farm trees. For each log you get 4 planks. For each plank you get 2 slabs. That's 8 slabs/log. Place slabs to remove water, and then burn them afterwards for a quick cleanup. Alternatively you can pour lava over the water and then dig it up with an eff. V pick. Or as a third option, you can use dirt and then shovel it up.

If you're really feeling super-whiny, I can help you clean it up.

Use wood. Also, don't help him.

Besides my previous post to Yuri, remember that when you log off, you can have your valuables on you. So although while online, this could not happen because of the lack of enderchests (no nether forts), to keep things fair, all you have to do is log off with what you want to keep.

The best strategy here would be to rush for a fortress, and build your base above nether bedrock with your painstakingly collected emeralds. And then not die, ever.

Re-read it carefully Yuri. :3 I'm not saying that this could happen on the server. I'm saying that this would be fun to do for a week on a fresh map before going back to the usual map. Hence the 350x350 bedrock walls.

    Heheheheh.

I'd love to do this, but it's impossible due to the "everybody on at once" thing.

To take the discussion to a lighter note, Com and I were talking about this:

    http://www.minecraft...map-experiment/

I apologize that the pictures are broken, it would be better if they were still view-able. For those of you who don't want to read the huge wall of text (its a fun read), I have summarized it here: (2 paragraphs)

Server is open on this map for 1-3 weeks or so. A bedrock wall that you are not allowed to pass is made from layer 1 to layer 256, in a 350x350 area. The experiment, ironically, had 30 players. The nether is accessible, but also has a bedrock wall containing a 350x350 area. You are not allowed to leave the overworld's contained area by portaling out through the nether. Generated structures are turned off, so no nether fortresses, dungeons, villages, or strongholds. So no End, and importantly, no ender chests.

PvP, stealing, griefing, etc. is all allowed, but it neither encouraged or discouraged. This is a social experiment. How do people react to being stuck in a tiny area with limited resources? The players of this turned their land into a nuclear wasteland. By the end of the experiment there were no saplings, wood, or grass left. All resources had been stripped and taken. The 350x350 area was a stone wasteland. People ended up hiding in holes, fighting with bones, and eating rotten flesh, unable to survive the harsh night in this fallout zone.

This could be something fun for us to do down the road. How would we approach such a dilemma? Could we co-exist peacefully for the allotted amount of time? (2 weeks tops probably) Or would we turn our area into a wasteland? Would theft and murder be rampant, or would a vibrant economy arise? Could any of us CTM vets survive in the barren, regional difficulty plagued wasteland that we might create?

I going to bet that 4000 x 4000 is a large enough area that with our ~10 active players. Hybran will get a lot of diamonds, but gold and iron are renewable. We don't have nearly enough players to cause the disaster on such a large area, and even if we did, I would just go underground and hide stashes of important items all over. It's just not possible to dig out all the stone in a 4000 x 4000 world.

In addition, griefing gets you banned from this server.

I'm gonna have a few hours to play tonight, how many slimeballs do you need in total?
    Roughly 6 stacks in total.

TBH the efficiency loss from that (bridge is 1 wide) is way less than the gain that would occur if someone were so kind as to donate 222 slime for the last 8 floors... (That's like 2x efficiency...)

    Fixed your post.
Decided on the UHC Date Cameron? :3

Also: some utter moron put about 15 dirt blocks in the various water flows of the Ender Ender. Needless to say, this disrupted spawning, allowed for more teleportation, and completely ruined the water flows. I lost a lot of gear to being pushed slightly off one block. Since it's at Y = 0, that means insta-void. 3 pieces of diamond armor, my good work pick, etc. are all gone now. It took me about half an hour to fix the water flows because of the way water spread works now.

So do not ever mess with the ender ender again people. Don't build sandstone railings either. Just let people like Yuri, me, Red, etc., who know what we're doing, mess with the Ender Ender.

TL;DR: Go to the ender ender for your xp, enchant and leave. No breaking or placing blocks.

    :3

That was me. I was attempting to fix the water currents that pushed me off the path, and in doing so, pushed myself off the path. Twice. In frustration I failed to clean in up.

Edit: Whoever added an actual safe path, thanks! Just remember that we want to keep exposed blocks of any kind (Even non-spawnable) to a minimum because the endies teleport, which is why the path is 1 wide.
