Me and my friend can upload and listen to our own songs and sounds just fine, but when we do, the other one gets kicked. The list also labels those as "Not Downloaded".Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Other than that: great mod! This will be a lot of fun.
EDIT: Also, Railcraft caused /sounds to crash our game as well.
Oct 10, 2012Ytomyth posted a message on Looking for the name of a mod that gives MC an MMORPG feeling?I haven't been able to find any one mod that can give Minecraft an MMORPG feeling, I did find Factions: http://massivecraft.com/plugins/factions but that is more of a mod to be used on a server.Posted in: Mods Discussion
Speaking of servers, there are a couple of those out there you could join that host an MMORPG:
are some of the first on google. I haven't really looked into them, if you want any more explanation let me know.
Oct 10, 2012What kind of ideas are you looking for? Aesthetic, traps, designs?Posted in: Maps Discussion
And do you want a maze with 1 clear path through it or a more 'open' one?
Btw, maybe certain death would be kind of....cheap, if there's no way of telling which is the right cart. Maybe just another section of the maze, through a door that can only be opened on the inside.
Oct 9, 2012Yeah....and if not impossible it most certainly wouldn't be like swapping out your vid cards in a desktop. (Unless you know someone who could, in theory, build a laptop from scratch. Someone like that -might- be able to.)Posted in: Unmodified Minecraft Client Support
Anyhoo: first thing I always recommend for better FPS: Optifine!
Best bet would probably be the Optifine B2 Light edition.
Might also be worth a watch: Quite extensive guide on optimizing/speeding up MC
Oct 9, 2012Tamed wolf = dog, if it's not wild; it's not a wolf.Posted in: Creative Mode
Couple of years of domestication separates them, Minecraft's trivialisation of that proces for ease of gameplay certainly doesn't change that definition.
OT: Cats keep creepers away from your stuff, but if you're making a small house a dog would probably be more....appropriate?

"Google, ring a bell?"
"I used to craft, like you but the-" *stabs* "You died? "
Bit of a buck-shot but it might just contain some humour. (Yeah, I like randomness....)
Also: try a google search, there's thousands of those on these forums and all over the webs. Don't forget to ask for permission, though.
Edit: afaik, they're all thought up by me in the past couple of minutes. If any of these seem plagiarized, please let me know and I'll either credit or remove it.
Moar edit, wont be making new posts. Just editing more in when I think of them:
"May the Craft be with you."
Oct 8, 2012This may be a really dumb suggestion, if so please forgive me: I'm not really that computer savvy.Posted in: Unmodified Minecraft Client Support
But, is there a possibility then that the new GPU is in some way not fully compatible with....something?
Any chance of some specs?
Vista can also get compatibility problems with some stuff....seems like a rather tiny chance but might be worth to try running it with compatibility for Windows XP?
