    1. What does a potion of reaching actually do?
    2. maybe instead of using a sticky lemur paw and adding an entire new mob where it's not needed, why not simply make craftable cobwebs (1slimeball + 8 string) and brew stickiness potions with those?
    3. a cooked porkchop restores more hunger than the potion of saturation, which is more expensive. If this is implemented, the potion should be splash by default, and only require 1 quartz each
    4. Armor provides a more durable and long lasting effect that relies less on luck than the means you have shown. However it would be useful, if a bit op, in battles on top of armor.
    5. no elephants. They're awesome and all, but not in minecraft, it just doesn't "fit"
    6. hunger, starving, mining fatigue are all useless in survival. Maybe if you were brewing, there'd be a chance you'd screw up and end up with one of these. I certainly wouldn't brew these on purpose!
    7. level 3 potions aren't needed, and the way you have proposed to brew them is illogical and unnecessary.
    8. eye of the sea is good, will probably need that to find sponge to brew absorption potions. Like the new use for sponge BTW. Gives a reason to raid these ocean monuments
    9. i'd like to see a saturation potion (saturation as it is now) I'm so sick of eating every five seconds.
    10. when talking potions, fermented spider eyes corrupt potions, they don't upgrade them. So absorption + fermented spider eye === unlogic
    take my criticism any way you want, other than that specified.

    Hmmmmmm..... this isn't so much an alchemy addition as it is an update to brewing. Maybe you could add a kind of "philosophers stone" that takes xp (large amounts) to transform lapiz into diamond (instead of lead to gold) maybe not lapiz, it is a bit common. maybe emerald.

    The Silverfish Idea is great. As a reagent the eggs would go well into potions that:

    Allow you to move through solid blocks temporarily. *drinks potion. goes through blocks, potion wears off* not a good idea Also what about the blocks you walk on? whats to stop you falling through to bedrock?
    Mask yourself as another mob. Maybe. sounds a bit too OP, and makes invis pots redundant
    Shrinking potions. No. just no
    Mob repellant. AKA sword in the face

    Also I'm a fan of the idea of more pets ala wow. A silverfish pet recipe would be mildy amusing.

    Shine Potion
    -Brewing 'Crushed Lapis Lazuli' with an 'Awkward Potion' will give you a 'Shine Potion' which will emit light around the player, the 'Shine Potion' will also make 'Mobs' easier to see by making their eyes glow. So its a trippy Night Vision Potion which makes mobs look like Herobrine? No thanks.

    /tellraw would be too hard for combat.

    inventory is probably the better idea, but it may be hard because you don't just use 2 slots for weapons, you also have food, bow potions etc.

    maybe you could use /tellraw if it was maybe a turn-based system, for in 1.8 using the noAI data tag for mobs. (freezing them in place, dealing damage to you as their "attacks" or to them from yours.

    use /setblock to another place, have more repaeters than use setblock again.

    so you have Dialogue 1: "blah blah blah"

    setblock x y z mc:redstoneblk----sets off repeaters

    setblock x y z mc redstoneblk----puts redstone block next to next dialogue cmd block

    Dialogue 2: "blahblah, blah!"

    yes yes it would. but how exactly would it be any different than heads? with heads you're dealing with 6 faces (plus the outside layer) which make 384 pixels at least. with this its just 64. i dont mean the face like it is w/ the creeper head, i mean your face on it as if it was from a head

    As those of us following the snapshots know, banners have been added to minecraft. there are multiple different recipes for patterns (stripes checks etc). one of these is where you put a creeper head in with the banner in a crafting square, resulting in a banner w/ a creeper face.

    so my idea is this: you should be able to put your own head in the crafting square to create a banner w/ your face on it.

    This could be used for awesome-looking halls of fame, and giving credit where credit is due in an awsm way in adventure maps.

    Obviously this will be strictly creative mode only.
    For those who don't know, you get your own head by using /give @p skull 1 3 {SkullOwner: <yourname>}

    could you help out starting up a server? BTW what do you mean the server was lost in a virus, were you hosting it yourself? some other things i need to know are : timezone? any qualifictions other than experience in data and server management? whatplugins have you worked on? Other than that im sure we'd be happy to get you on the team. i will need to consultinregards to rank, but with this amount of experience, you can expect a high one
