Sep 11, 2014Yoshidude posted a message on Microsoft Buying Minecraft?Right now, this will show us how much Mojang actually cares about us. If they do this deal, then they obviously care more about money then their game.Posted in: News

Sep 10, 2014Yoshidude posted a message on Microsoft Buying Minecraft?Posted in: NewsQuote from CliffracerX»It's not, which pretty majorly sucks because if the deal goes through Minecraft is probably going to turn into a DLC-filled piece of crud.
Exactly. Microsoft will ruin any game they get their hands on. -
Aug 1, 2014Yoshidude posted a message on New EULA Now in Effect!Honestly, I dont think anyone is going to care. Ranks will continue until something happens.Posted in: News
Mojang is trying to scare servers into complying. No one is going to change their ways except for big servers.
ALSO: Aren't mojang just pretty much PROMOTING pay to play for servers? Plus, this is a pretty stupid move Mojang is pulling on us. They can't just let servers live like this, even promote paid ranks, then just pull the carpet right out from under them like this.

Besides, do you think that Mojang is going to sue every server owner who doesn't comply?
This whole thing isn't going to work. -
Jun 17, 2014Yoshidude posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangThis EULA is just full of loopholes. Everyones arguing over "well technically, you can do this." and "technically you cant".Posted in: News
Its funny how mojang is trying to prevent the whole pay2win thing from going on but at the same time they are making servers
pay2play. -
Jun 16, 2014Yoshidude posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangHonestly, I have mixed emotions about this whole ordeal. On Mojang's side, they are trying to put a stop to the pay to win servers,Posted in: News
where whoever forks over the most money gets the good benefits. But at the same time, they are stopping a lot of server's way to fund themselves. Big servers can cost 100's of dollars per month. There is no winning side to this. Both sides will lose. There is no telling where this will go. All we can do is sit and watch the fireworks. -

May 7, 2012Yoshidude posted a message on MCX360 - The Good, The Bad, The AwesomeThe bad:Posted in: News
Its not worth it. First, you have to pay for MS points. Then gold, then whatever other crap (like extra content) they charge you with.Plus you can't get
mods. I knew it was a bad idea from the start. Microsoft(or microcrap) raise the prices on any game. Thats they're way of scamming
us. Get a game, make it require XBOX live gold, and BAM instant money. The only reason they let minecraft and microsoft have an EXCLUSIVE deal is because they want all that money. If you want to play, stick to the computers. They're
less pricey. Lets also count up the money, 18 dollars + 10-100 dollars depending on the subscription you get,
so yeah. Also, if you REALLY want to play something like MC on the Xbox, try total miner forge, its really cheap on MS points. Not to mention its a indie game, meaning microsoft doesn't raise the prices. So hurry before microsoft claims it and raises the prices.
Also, the world is limited. Don't believe me? watch this
Also listen to this guy:
quote:
Wait, what? MC360 only has features from Beta 1.6? I never knew that, and I was so pumped about being able to play Minecraft on the Xbox, but now that I know it isn't even the full released game, I'm not even going to buy it.
What's the point of "finishing" Minecraft and "releasing" the "full version", when the Minecraft for Xbox isn't even the full game? What a horrible idea. To think I was actually excited for it, and I'm just receiving an unfinished piece of trash that I've already paid for and enjoyed to a further extent.
The good:
MC on xbox.
EDIT: Look on the video about the guide on the front, it even states "Everyone has to have an Xbox live GOLD account"

Odd, when I used this mod I couldn't sprint normally.
0
Is there any way to get regular sprinting back?

I know that I can look in the sounds.json for the individual sound names, but is there a way to extract ALL sounds and put them into their correct folders?
Any help would be appreciated.

It'd be cool if you could add resource pack support so that other people could make their own sounds in nature, or can you already do that with how it is set up?
0
:P, just fixed it. Google's URL shortener is a bit bugged, so I switched to bit.ly. Try now.

Whoops, sorry about that, I had to add a direct download link because the forums don't like long URLs, so try now. I'm also uploading a new version (version 3.1) as we speak that adds and fixes many sounds (and their volume) and halves the file size(from 200 mb to 100mb).

Nature's Call is a sound enhancement project with the idea that minecraft could sound a lot better with realism. Many people work their tail off for high end graphical upgrades for minecraft, but almost always forget about the sounds as well. Sounds are half the game, so Nature's Call is the solution! I have personally went through the sounds of the game and enhancing and changing them to sound true to nature. More than 60% of sounds have been changed so far, and many more to come!
Which sounds have been changed?
- Sounds for common animals (pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, ocelots.etc)
- Most walking sounds (grass, stone, snow and sand)
- Water Sounds (including falling into water)
- All weather sounds (rain, lightning, and the sort)
- Fire Sounds
- Nether Portal Sounds
- Explosions
- Door Open/Close
- All Bow Sounds
- Drinking Sounds
- Teleport Sounds
- Fireball Sounds
- Added a few record easter eggs
- Various Other Sounds (that I probably forgot)
More to come!

I recommend nerfing' it a bit, maybe reducing durability and/or range possibly? And to be honest, it would be nice to make it so that the ores weren't outlined with color, that way it wouldn't be as abusive. One last thing, is it possible to make CoFH core optional for 1.7.10, not everyone wants to use RF to power it. But other than those things, its great!

Most mods require you to use the latest version of Java.
0
Let me get this straight, you are using a UNMODDED(besides forge) client of 1.7.2/1.7.10, you are clicking the download mod from his curse, and putting in the mods folder in the .minecraft.
0
I could help you, not sure if this will help, but give it a shot. Looks like you may have downloaded it from his github or something, use his curse link, then put it in the mods folder in .minecraft. Then tell me if it crashes.

I'd be more than happy to help you make textures for your mod, if your fine with that, I'll get to it!

I mean that thing where animals have to get used to you before you can breed them.
1
I was wondering if you would add a config option for your new breeding behaviour (the thing where animals have to get used to you).
