posted a message on Any way to unhash and structure all of the sound files for 1.9?

I know that I can look in the sounds.json for the individual sound names, but is there a way to extract ALL sounds and put them into their correct folders?

    Any help would be appreciated.

It'd be cool if you could add resource pack support so that other people could make their own sounds in nature, or can you already do that with how it is set up?

Direct link tells it's disabled due to it violating Google's ToS. Maybe upload it to Mediafire, Dropbox or Curse?

Also are you pasting in the right URL into the hyperlink? I've been guilty of that many a time. XD

:P, just fixed it. Google's URL shortener is a bit bugged, so I switched to bit.ly. Try now.

The download link just links back to this page! =P I'd like to give this a go.

Whoops, sorry about that, I had to add a direct download link because the forums don't like long URLs, so try now. I'm also uploading a new version (version 3.1) as we speak that adds and fixes many sounds (and their volume) and halves the file size(from 200 mb to 100mb).

Nature's Call is a sound enhancement project with the idea that minecraft could sound a lot better with realism. Many people work their tail off for high end graphical upgrades for minecraft, but almost always forget about the sounds as well. Sounds are half the game, so Nature's Call is the solution! I have personally went through the sounds of the game and enhancing and changing them to sound true to nature. More than 60% of sounds have been changed so far, and many more to come!

    Which sounds have been changed?

    - Sounds for common animals (pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, ocelots.etc)

    - Most walking sounds (grass, stone, snow and sand)

    - Water Sounds (including falling into water)

    - All weather sounds (rain, lightning, and the sort)

    - Fire Sounds

    - Nether Portal Sounds

    - Explosions

    - Door Open/Close

    - All Bow Sounds

    - Drinking Sounds

    - Teleport Sounds

    - Fireball Sounds

    - Added a few record easter eggs

    - Various Other Sounds (that I probably forgot)

    More to come!

    Old Versions:

    Link Removed

    Changelog:

    v3.1

    - Added walking sounds for gravel

    - Replaced water noise with a high-def version

    - Refined various sounds

    v3

    - Release (far too many changes to note)

    ----v2 and older----

    - Realistic dog growling

    - New bow sounds

    - Better fire sounds

    - Realistic arrow sounds

    - A less startling tool break noise

    - A less loud and improved nether portal

    - Better noises for cows, chickens, and sheep

    - Easter egg

    - Better grass walking noises

    - Better weather sounds

    - Improved drinking noise

    - Greatly better firework sounds

    - Better water noises

    - Something else I forgot

    v2.3 --------------------------------

    - Added new easter egg (cough, records)

    - Weather now has varying intensity, from just a light shower to a raging storm, also including better lightning sounds.

    - Doors now have a "retro" touch, feels a lot better.

I used sounds from freesound.org and edited them in Audacity. No extensive editing has been done to keep the sound pack as natural as can be.

posted a message on Ore Dowsing mod - Dowsing Rods highlight nearby ores, v0.7 adds config file

I recommend nerfing' it a bit, maybe reducing durability and/or range possibly? And to be honest, it would be nice to make it so that the ores weren't outlined with color, that way it wouldn't be as abusive. One last thing, is it possible to make CoFH core optional for 1.7.10, not everyone wants to use RF to power it. But other than those things, its great!

Nevermind I know why, I was using Java 7, you need Java 8 ... Might want to state that.

Most mods require you to use the latest version of Java.

No it still crashes, I am using the latest alpha on a 1.7.2 forge.
I tried using the latest alpha on forge 1.7.10 and it still crashed.

Let me get this straight, you are using a UNMODDED(besides forge) client of 1.7.2/1.7.10, you are clicking the download mod from his curse, and putting in the mods folder in the .minecraft.

I could help you, not sure if this will help, but give it a shot. Looks like you may have downloaded it from his github or something, use his curse link, then put it in the mods folder in .minecraft. Then tell me if it crashes.

Thanks. I don't like the textures either :-), making sprites is not my forte. If anybody wanted to supply something better I'd love to use it.

You mean, disable mod-added breeding behavior? I will extend the breeding system, similar to vanilla breeding system. You will be able to turn on vanilla breeding system that needs particular item to breed. Honestly this is for Horses, because they need quite expensive item to breed (golden carrot). (It's too easy breeding horses with just a lot of wheat.)

I mean that thing where animals have to get used to you before you can breed them.

I was wondering if you would add a config option for your new breeding behaviour (the thing where animals have to get used to you).
