Minecraft downloads files from s3.amazonaws. And I think its probably your firewall that is blocking certain connections from servers. If possible, try and disable the firewall.

Approximate time of ban: A long time ago. About a year and a half ago if I remember correctly.
Why you deserve to be unbanned: Well, I'm not a retarded little kid anymore and I think I would know better now to not advertise... I was banned about a year and a half ago when I made a little server with my friend and I wanted people to come on. It was a stupid decision and I regret it now because I've really wanted to go on, but I am still banned.
Any additional information: I don't know. I just want to be unbanned. Thanks.
I guess it wouldn't hurt for the wardens to unban you and give you a second chance, unless they are really against it. But its weird how you seem to have a MCF account for you alt account :3

Why are you the best choice for guard?: I am the best choice for guard because i am responsible, i listen to orders, and you can rely on me whenever. If you tell/ask me to do something i will do it. I am also the best choice for a guard because I am trustworthy and I can get the job done right. I will do whatever I can to help wardens, guards etc. I will commit to the server and do whatever I can to help it stay as an awesome server. I will enforce the rules when I am a guard and when I am not ( I try to help out other guards whenever I can).
I hope I am chosen to be a guard and I like this server very much!

Approximate time of ban: I was permanently banned a long time ago (over a year). My time zone is PST.
Why you deserve to be unbanned: I would love to be unbanned because I made a mistake that I will always regret. To play on Convicted again means to have countless hours of fun with my friends and the community. I am much more mature now, I understand what I did and will never let it happen again.
