    Quote from Sn0fflan»

    Well, you could give them Resistance, though they would still be able to hit each other without taking damage.

    Otherwise you could like send out rays and if they hit a player you summon an armorstand in front of the raycasting player so they can't punch the other player.

    Or just give up the color thing and have them in the same team :P

    Yeah I just realised I could have the same team :D. Thanks anyway!

    I wish they would add an option for players being on multiple teams :(((

    posted a message on How to make players unable to attack each other

    So, I am building a co-op map with two separate players.

    They are both on separate teams, For coloured-names sake, so I can't disable friendly-fire on that. I don't want to give them weakness, due to the fact there will be other mobs I want them to kill.

    + Players can only be on 1 team at a time, so I cannot have them on a team together that disables friendly-fire.

    Any ideas?

    posted a message on Minecraft Original Sounds?

    Yeah... I found this tutorial already in the wiki, and I can find the sounds, just as an example, I found portal2.ogg sound begins with the code 35, so I went and found that, and the folder for it contained about 8 different files, all of which I could not open, and did NOT appear to be in .ogg format (I use audacity, and I can normally open anything sound related).

    Am I doing something wrong, and can someone help me please?

    Oh wait lol, nvm it worked when I tried it again :D. thank you so much!

    posted a message on Minecraft Original Sounds?

    For a while now I have been trying to find the original minecraft sounds. I know they are 'copyrighted' or something, and I haven't been able to find them online, or any guide on HOW to find them in the files.

    I know how to find the TEXTURES in the original version files, which looks like a resource pack, containing everything EXCEPT the sounds...

    Are they stored somewhere else, and is there anyway to get them? If so, please tell me.

    Thanks...

    p.s. sorry if this is in the wrong section, best one I could find.

    posted a message on How to get the original leaf textures?

    This isn't really about a resource pack, but it's the best place to put it I guess, as it's about textures...

    So, I am making some 3D Minecraft block models, and I am up to the leaves. I have managed to find all of the leaf textures EXCEPT dark oak and acacia.

    I can easily find the black and white versions, but i CANNOT find the coloured versions, whether in the files, or online.

    Either, can someone tell me HOW to get them, or someone possibly make them up for me?

    posted a message on Scoreboard Score Help?

    So... I am trying to give players scores to help have selectors for them.

    What I am doing, there will be 2 ppl, both with different scores. It will assign them both to different players when they enter a certain area (testfor etc).

    So, what I need to know.

    How to Add a score (Create one, not add it to a player)

    How to assign a score to a player, and to do it when they're in a certain place.

    How to select them with their score, like giving them items, telling them messages, assigning them to teams, etc.

    How to remove scores.

    posted a message on Resource Pack Custom Models Help?

    So... I am creating a custom models resource pack for one of my maps, kinda kitchen benches and appliances etc...

    So I have these folders...

    Resource Pack

    - pack.mcmeta

    - pack.png

    - assets

    (under assets)

    - minecraft

    (under Minecraft)

    - blockstates

    - models

    - textures

    that's the basic layout... then under models I have 'block' and 'item'.

    I use Mr.Crayfish's model maker, which allows you to create the model, and then put a texture on it...

    So, I have the .json file for slime (that's just what I tried using), then I have the file under blockstates which says:

    {
    "__comment":"By ThunderBolt832 ",
    "variants": {
    "normal": [
    { "model": "slime" }
    ]
    }
    }

    So... if I have a texture under textures and blocks called slime, will it use that? Or, as in this case, I had 3 different textures called 'quartz', 'black', and 'grey', which it used all over it, some for the stove top, some for the actual block, and some for the handles etc... if I put them under the textures, will it use them?

    Sorry this is kinda a long thread, and I'm not sure if there's actually a place for this to go, just hope I get some answers :D.

    posted a message on Repeating Command Block /testfor output?

    I have a repeating command block with a /testfor command in it, (this is the actual command) /testfor @a[x=1009,y=106,z=-25.5,r=3].

    I have a redstone block behind it, generating it, and I'm trying to get it to do a /tellraw when it's true... but it's just not :(.

    How do I do this? I did it last time with chain command blocks, but they don't appear to work, and neither do comparators... I want it to be a repeating command block, so it won't just say it once and stop....
