If your playing on a render distance that is short or lower, then that should be the reason. Skies don't show up when the render distance is too short, to lower the amount of lag.
Thanks mate.
The default starfield was showing up so I didn't realize that the render distance was an issue.
I hadn't used this texture pack in awhile, but I came back and was astounded by all the amazing new stuff. My favorite feature by far is the night sky, however I only managed to see it once, and every time I use this texture pack now, it never shows up. I'm using Optifine instead of MCpatcher because my computer can't handle the pack regularly, so that might be the issue.
If so, is it possible to fix?
Gonna get back to the witch later, though I've toyed around with making the witch into a mad traveling salesman wearing one of these hats:
Probably not, though.
Anyhow, back to working on and testing particles. I think you'll all be pleased with them on release
What about a scientist with a broken virtual reality/mind control helmet? Like, it's making everything look like a monster to him. It would also make throwing medicine bottles around make sense.
The nether's new tumor/growth theme is awesomely disgusting. I am so torn between wanting to see the new textures, and not going to the nether ever again, even in creative mode
Oh, and I have a devilishly terrible idea for the creepers. It's gonna make stormy nights in Minecraft abso-freakin'-lutely nerve-racking.
I'm Canadian, and we already had thanksgiving :/
As for the creepers, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, don't make them even more invisible than they already are. They are the scariest creeper skin I have seen, That head floating out of the shadows...
are you talking about the diamond sword because the rest seem to be obvious. But i think i understand what you mean about it, like how similar everything is for diamond tools but i kinda like them all similar so meh
It's not the similarity of the tools, but the actual hotbar. The borders are thin and white, and so is the selected item box. So not only do those two blend in, but they also blend in with the landscape.
While playing on jerman's survival map, I noticed a major issue while playing survival. It is too difficult to tell which item is selected on the hotbar at a glance, and being charged by 5 creepers is not a time to be uncertain of where your sword is.
It says that the map is in V1. If you do a V2, or even an V1.1 or whatever, you should use one of those mods that allows you to change the author of books.
If i had the resources I would certainly try to do that. Unfortunately I don't have a good enough computer for the filming.
It's a shame too, because I have great ideas for what to do.
