The problem you are having is that there are corrupted chunks. I don't know if there is anything you can do to fix them, but to avoid the problem all you have to do is stay away from that area. If that is where anything important is (mines, house, etc.) Then your best bet is to create a new world and hope for the best.
I've heard of the 25 blocks distance thing for mobs. But, I've switched my floor from grass to brick blocks and now no animals spawn in my house. Instead, they step on the pressure switch and open my door to come in. -_-'
I use Hypercam2 as my video recording software. When I play Minecraft, it runs smooth and perfect. When I'm recording and playing, it is all laggy and choppy. Is there anything I can do to make it not lag? If it helps, my computer is an HP G61 Model Laptop. Thanks for any help.
I don't know if that would actually work, it sure sounds like a great idea, however, that would require a lot of train track, which requires a lot of iron. But, that's only if you want a large area for your base to move around in. I think it's definitely worth trying.
Try the seed Random I spawned on a beach and swam to a few islands, and before night fell, I had over 300 balls of clay. Which, clay is usually rare to find. (at least for me). Please try it out and reply here. Thanks.
