    Okay, I know what you mean. My problem was that my modded client saw nothing different when on a server, but it worked well in single player.

    I figured out what happened, I tested it on client side, and then somehow the back up got used as the test folder (unmodded) for testing if it worked connecting to the server. Sorry for the false alarm.

    Thank you for this mod! I really wanted to use it to make a central "you are here" map in each city, with a zoomed in city map on a wall, and a larger area map zoomed all the way out, so they could see where the city was on the road map to other cities. It looked odd with item frames showing, and we used to use this mod. So I very badly wanted it working again!

    Everyone took one look at it working again and immediately wanted a large map of the world in their bases. Guess they see a good thing.

    I installed it on the clients, they work fine. Maps look wonderful and just like your examples.

    But when installing it on the server, our maps look the same as vanilla when we connect. Any idea what is wrong? I put it in the server jar file. Not getting any errors, it seems to think we are doing everything right.

    Using the 1.5.1 file.

    Oh please no. I like that it adds interest to the game, but would hate to see it change the mechanics of the game, such as what monsters you meet. I would have to remove it then. There are plenty of monsters adding mods out there.

    I love this mod. :)

    The light given off is perfect for underwater cities, we use Optifine (for the improved underwater vision) and this mod to spruce up our water cities. They look beautiful! The light is a much better way to light their cities, too, than glowstone and torches.

    As a programmer, I side with the "release with the stable build" routine. Growling at the mods that don't update will not help, and the general opinion of these forums has always been that you don't beg for updates. That is rude.

    We play with 60+ mods, and BC and Forestry are the only ones who are pushing that build of Forge. While sad that BC and Forestry decided to update to an incompatible build of Forge, even Forge people don't recommend it. They make it hard to get those latest builds on purpose, and only recommend you use them to make sure the bug you are reporting hasn't already been fixed on the latest build. Confusing for the general user, but sane.

    Our server just won't update until forge does. The new shinies in the latest updates will wait, after all. They won't leave.

    no, forge mods will not work with ONLY forge mod loader. They state outright that it just makes modloader mods work without having modloader installed. To make forge mods to work with modloader files, just install forge. It has FML built into it.

    If you need Ultimate Fist, perhaps try http://www.atomicstr...t/kenshiro.html He also has a page for it here.

    You can also try installing forge with your Ultimate fist mod, and see if it works. I have many mods (51) installed atm, and many are not forge files, some even go in the jar. You won't know until you try it.

    On topic, thank you for the update! I missed that it had updated. Thank you and grabbing it now.

    Was having the same problem as Pickety. Mod worked great on single player, but on the server wasn't enabled. (This is what causes the ability to put the coral in your hot bar, but it disappears when placed. That is because your client, with NEI, sees the items, but the server doesn't recognize them, so they disappear.)

    On examining the folders again, I had forgot to put the plugin in the server mods folder, only transferred the folder with the configs.. silly me. Check if you installed the mod Pickety?

    This stuff happens when I try to install mods at night, when I am tired.

    Not really either, since we dont use the grund plant :D

    Seriously, not sure about it. You dont really use a shovel to harvest any plant, except maybe truffles. Cotton had to be hand picked, way back. Doesn't sound like a realistic or neccessary change, so I wouldn't bother.

    It sort of makes sense for the grund plant, but I wouldn't do it for the cotton.

    I love the idea of your cotton mod, but have to ask a question before trying it. You say it comes with some HD resolutions, but will it still work on the native 16x16 res? We use Painterly and other 16x16 texture packs, but no HD. Will your mod still work? I guess what I am asking is if you included native res textures, too. Sorry if the answer is obvious, had to check.
