Has anyone compiled the 1.10.2 source on the git repo? MD says the idea was to get TwF working on 1.10.2 then port to 1.11.x. wondering if it's functional.
Just wanted to chime in and mention, I was getting a crash with a clean install of kcauldron with just chickencore, BOP, highlands and:

Just had a deeper look into the pack-O-tron and it seems very promising. If a few of you would like, I could set up a group PM so we can discuss a few the pack creation tool and the future of the mod.
Well, delax beat me to a utility with a gui.. but mostly because I spent too much time messing around with the HTML5 filesystem API for my own sanity...
I wasn't planning on bothering to continue working on it, but...
If there's enough love, I might be able to be talked into finishing my web-based version.
That's what addons are for. I like your mod the way it is, which lets me have a larger variety of food on a world that tends to be limited in its options.
Agreed!
Also, Get well soon, MatrexsVigil! And I'm sorry that I couldn't find a better way to say "Get to the point that you can mentally cope with what you're going through so you can be happy again soon".
Apple Milk Tea actually has more varieties of booze than Growthcraft. Growthcraft is far more polished though, even more so than Rob's Booze mod... Unfortunately, in terms of varieties, nothing really has come close to Booze. I stand by my hope that this makes a comeback for 1.7.10. If not, I'm sorely tempted to attempt it myself.
lol just one problem with that.. fat's the most "efficient" food there is. That's why our body uses it to store nutrients. The best bet is to use Spice of Life, since, by definition, "nutrition" is about getting all the nutrients our body needs. Clearly you're not gonna get that if you just eat sugar-sprinkled cardboard every day but, by the same token, you're gonna get pretty sick if you cut all fat and protein out of your diet too.
By definition, "nutrition" has nothing to do with eating the same thing over and over again and suddenly not getting full anymore. I don't know about you, but if i eat a cheeseburger and fries for lunch, I'm pretty well stuffed... If I eat another cheeseburger and fries for dinner, I'm pretty well stuffed again... If I eat a cheeseburger and fries for every meal for a week, I'm probably going to be tired of eating cheeseburgers, sure, but I'm still going to be full, and not hungry anymore... diminishing returns? no, I'm still full. Sick of burgers? hell yeah... blasphemy I know... where's the steak?
So how exactly is "spice of life" in any way about nutrition? It's ass backwards. A filling meal is a filling meal. The only difference is how "satisfied" you are eating the same thing over and over and over again. Spice of life would have been better off as an add-on to whatever that mod is that adds hunger/thirst/temp/sanity (sadly, I just care too little to bother looking it up... DireDerp20 used it in that crash landing series I think), where eating the same food over and over again makes you go insane. It has no bearing on "hunger" at all.
Now a "nutrition" based mod, where eating too many cheeseburgers would make you fat over time, and give you a debuff like mining fatigue or slowness, and to lose weight you had to sprint everywhere (cardio!), and eating a variety of decent foods might give you a speed boost or strength buff, etc... I haven't seen anything that even came close to that...
I have a suggestion: maybe an alternate version of harvestcraft that would have the food and saturation values altered to teach people how to eat healthy. food with too much sugar and or fat would be less efficient than others rich in vegetables and fibers. fruits should have their nutritional value increased and etc. Or maybe as a more sophisticated approach, you could give people a buff for eating healthy and a debuff for eating junk.
That is a really cool idea. But I think you'd be better off talking to the author of "hunger overhaul".
MineFactoryReloaded-[1.7.10]2.8.1B1-125 after i got rid of some Bibliowoods addons + Buildcraft compat addon everything seems to be fine now, i have no idea what had causes this
[shrugs] not using buildcraft. It's not keeping me from playing or hurting performance, but i dislike complaints in my logs ;]=
dumb question but.... are you suuure they're fully grown before you try to harvest them? Also, are you breaking them or right clicking on them to harvest them?
Climate Control's configs are world-specific so you can have different save under different rules, but Highlands and BOP's configs aren't. Did you change the biomes IDs in either of those? CC currently changes its ids to match the ones in the Highlands and BoP configs (Originally I was planning to have CC move around biomes when you switched worlds but that came out to be more difficult than I'd thought it would be.)
I didn't change anything while updating aside from swapping out your JARs for the new version. Seems like there was just a hiccup in the "update" process. I noticed that the config files were never/improperly updated after swapping JARs. I.e., the biome "climates" weren't updated, but all of the biome ID's were borked. Could have been a random glitch on my end. I would recommend everyone wipe their configs for this mod if they update from the last version to the latest. Just set them aside, and copy your "incidence" settings back in after updating.
hmm.. strange. That's caused by searching for a seed and exiting before the spawn chunks have finished loading and unloading, right? The only cure is patience. I've found this regardless of using CC or not - generating seed after seed and looking for "teh perfect spawn". I was trying to reproduce what another un-named player was finding (we had the same exact modpack). He kept loading worlds saying "nah. this world's borked." "What? This world's stuffed too!" ..I was loading the same seeds and seeing perfect worlds and perfect spawns because I was waiting for the chunks to load. Then, upon exiting the world, waiting for them to unload before creating a new world.
People keep saying this... I keep responding saying "I shut down MC completely, started it up, and created a new world with a name that I've never used in the past"... which isn't hard to do considering this installation is only a couple of weeks old.
Ultimately what cleared up the "borking" for me was properly setting the Biome ID's to match what was in BOP and Highlands.
Now the first install of this mod was the previous version, which picked up all the ID's automagically. The update just went horribly wrong for me, which caused the aforementioned borking.
If anyone else updates and runs into the same situation, at least this is a good starting point to resolve it.
>That looks like this bug, which I'm actually surprised occurred given that this is obviously on Forge and at least back in 1.6
Could be, but more likely the spawn chunks issue. I've seen vanilla 1.8 worlds that appear to show the spawn chunk bug, so it seems to be affecting vanilla as well, probably with customization.
It was because all of the biome ID's in the BOP config were set to "-1" and all of the biome ID's in the Highlands config were set to "0", because for some reason the only biome IDs the mod picked up after the update were Thaumcraft's.
After copy/paste old biome ID vals from old configs to new, problem resolved.

It would also probably be useful to mention you should CD to the folder you extracted it into... otherwise, still, not so much.I need more coffee...

For anyone scratching their head here, this works only if you have downloaded/installed/configured Gradle. If you haven't, then no, not so much.

This works pretty good. I can verify that the pack files are generated properly.
Just for everyone's reference, if you're wondering just WHAT all of the text options are for:
Also, you can prefix any of the text with the minecraft "color codes" and "format codes" and further customize your records.
Notes:
Special Name: Also shows up as the "item name" when you select that item in your hotbar
Description: Also shows up as the "Now Playing: Record Description"
Here's a link to the color/formatting codes:
http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Formatting_codes

Holy hell there's a lot of json files that need to be filled out "just so".......
On the upside, each record can have:
a custom name
custom lore
a custom description (shows in tooltip + when playing)
and all of these can be colored using MC § color codes.
yeahhh... this is good stuff.
