    If you're serious, then, sorry, but I have to put a negative vote there. Diamonds would be too easy to aquire.


    It makes about as much sense as burning wood and getting sulfer. They share absolutely no chemical properties, not to mention the fact that wood is actually burned to achieve CHARCOAL, which also shares zero chemical similiaraties with Sulfer.

    Errr... When I suggested silver, it was A LOT more powerful then just a "counterpart to copper." Silver should have some kind of use in SSP, like what I suggested ON THE OTHER MORE ORES THREAD! It should at least deal more damage to skeletons and zombies (and werewolves if they get added), mine at the same speed of an iron pickaxe (but with less durability), and the axe I'm not sure about... Shovel should probably have a higher chance of getting flint (when used on gravel), and a small chance of getting sandstone from sand.

    Yes, but all other boss items are craftable. This one isn't. The drop doesn't really fit with the others unless you can somehow craft it!

    I really like your crystal ideas. Also, for the Life Arrow, maybe where it hits will land a random food item? Chances: Bread 10/11, Raw pork 9/11, cooked pork 7/11, raw fish 8/11, cooked fish 7/10, apple 2/20, golden apple 1/100, and for the purple arrow, it should act like flying bone meal (makes any plant it hits instantly grow). I don't know what they should do on hostile mobs though :/ Also, I WANT FLOATING ISLANDS!!! I've never played Indev, so I didn't get to play on any floating islands :sad.gif:

    Which is why I said more ideas were on the way.

    I like this "age" approach because it keeps the randomness of the current game, which I prefer, but elaborates on it. It also sounds cool to make a world 4 billion years old.


    My approach still keeps the randomness, but makes it a bit more customizable. Some people want to build massive sky fortresses that tower above everything else. Mountains just kinda ruin it :/ Therefore, I would either turn the mountain option to "rare" or "none." If someone wants to build mountain-top bases, they can turn the mountain option to "High" or "EXTREME." Extreme is highest, high is 2nd highest, medium is default, low is 2nd lowest, rare is lowest, and none means none.
    Landscapes: Mountains, valleys, cliffs, caves, lava pools, water, plains, forests (DO NOT TURN OFF FORESTS, OR YOU WILL FIND VERY LITTLE WOOD), land-bridges (that link 2 mountains), land bridges (that link 2 islands), islands.
    Maybe your current age influences something else that can't be chosen through landscape? Like maybe there could be ruins in some time periods, but not in others? Or maybe there could be ghost-towns in some time periods (I personally would prefer ruins, which would be dangerous but full of really good treasure)

    So it cant break TNT? are there now randomly enforced rules as to what it can and cannot break!? Please, just scrap the idea or remove alot of its power to make it balanced, try to explain it in a calm and clear way and maybe, just maybe, you can get some people to agree with your idea.

    Some people are already agreeing with this idea, or is it that you can't read posts that talk about LIKING this idea?
