I reckon Notch should add fish, cos then there would be a reason for a fishing rod, And then I could cut down the tallest tree in the forest... with a herring!
This game is still in Alpha , meaning there will be much more crafting recipes so it is always a good idea to save everything because you never know what items you will need for new recipes in the future .
But odds are you will eventually need to generate new maps for new ores, which in turn are needed for new crafting recipes.
Not gonna take credit for this idea I saw it on reddit, but this would be AWESOME. Have it spawn in really deep mines, and we all know notch could make this thing terrifying out of blocks. Probably too much for a friday though.

I've seen an actual working Stargate on a creative server some time back. Several of them in fact. They took you to all kinds of maps. It was cool. And it was huge.
I don't really have that much to work with and that's only a rough, it will improve.
I have hollowed out the mountain and added in a few signs, I have finished the Stargate, If someone can tell me how to post pics I will show you.
Easy. First take pics with PrtSc (If you have non-Mac laptop. If its mac I am not sure) that is probably near the F12 button. Then open paint and type ctrl v. Edit the pic how you want in paint (it could be any other program, paint is an example). Save it. Go to imageshack.us (there are more image up-loaders out there) upload picture and copy the full image link they give you. Come here make post and use simg button right above the text box. Should be near youtube button. I hope this helps.

I just thought of an awesome idea, a minecraft map based on the army base (Mountain Complex) in Stargate SG1 and the Stargate has water source blocks in it. when you walk through there is a forest like area or a castle, I haven't decided yet.
I am going to try to make this myself and I will upload the save either when I finish or if so many people ask me.
I won't be using any hacks at all so it might take a while and if there isn't that much interest I will stop.

Why not, 1x2 and 2x1 are the only ones, I think you are thinking of 1, cos 1x1 isn't prime.
