    Quote from Wolley74

I recently tried to bring up YouTube mobile on my iPod touch and it says to enable plugins in safari's settings, no problem except for the fact that there is no option to turn plugins on or off, and I cannot find anything like this problem on apples website, so if anybody can help it would be great.

If your using the youtube app idk

If your trying to open it in browser. No ipod or iphones support Flash player. If you need flashplayer i think you can hack android onto ipods.

Um, I assume it's not. I don't even know what that means. I also don't know how to update manually.

Don't need root for this method hopefully it works HTC are a pain to update.
I used to hold HTC as the second best android phone maker but i think they are beaten by samesung at this point. I've never had issues with update moto or samesung phones on versizon.

    # Download the update file from the above link, which is weighing 87.8MB of size.
    # Rename the downloaded file (6f37e6f6b9ab.OTA_Incredible_C_Gingerbread_S_VERIZO N_WWE_4.06.605.3-3.26.605.1_release_210690.zip) to “update.zip” (remove quotes) or rename it as “update”, if you are running a Windows PC machine.
    # Copy that file, update.zip or update, and put it on your microSD card.
    # Make sure your Droid Incredible is off. Now, hold down volume button and turn the handset back on.
    # You will now see a white screen and the Android bots. Select Bootloader –> hit Recovery button.
    # Handset reboots and you will see an Android icon as well as a triangle with an exclamation (!) point inside it.
    # Now press the volume up and power button at the same time to move to the recovery menu.
    # Now select “Apply sdcard:update.zip” or “Apply sdcard:update”.
    # Once you this, the handet will automatically search for the phone and starts to flash the update.
    # You will see a black screen with green circular arrows and a progress bar. Don’t do anything until it is done. It will reboot by itself when it is done. It will look like it’s rebooting 3 times, this is normal.
    # Let the process to finish.
    # That’s it. Done. Your Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread goodness should be ready now for your Droid Incredible.

Since I got this phone, it hasn't updated. And I don't know if I can update manually.

You should hit the settings button scroll all the way down and in about phone there should system updates tab. Im not sure if HTC roms have it but Motorolla and Samesung roms have it.

I don't know what any of that stuff is besides the version. If you want the version number: 2.2.

The one who sends me sounds that I can't listen to has a Samsung Seek. The other hasn't told me yet.

You should be on gingerbread 2.3 see if that fixes your issues.

did he say what the cpu actually was? Because if not than 2.4ghz on a quadcore could be just fine. but at any rate, that gpu kills it, plus who ever heard of 5 GB of Ram?

Random example that makes no sense
What if its 2.4ghz Bulldozer quad core.

He does need to state what CPU it is.

A better CPU should be number 1 priority to replace. Your gpu should be ok for Medium.

GHz dont matter. Pentium 4 vs Athlon 64 for example.

GHz does matter within the same architecture of processors. Also most people here probably weren't gaming during the time of the Pentium 4 and the Athlon 64. Bulldozer and Sandy bridge is a much better example

lol at this. The 560 Ti performs better than the 560, and costs only a bit more.

    560 184$

    560ti 220$

Gateway and acers I've seen usually have there built in on the Acer or Gateway control panel. Usually the recovery tool is in there with some bloatware crap.

Could go for a P67 chipset, if you plan on overclocking at all.

A monitor that is 1920x1080 resolution capable would be good as well, if you plan on doing videos. 1080p is a nice thing to have available.

Could also go for a 560Ti instead.

Like I posted in the other thread the 560ti offers almost no performance difference to the 560.
