An easier thing to do than kidnapping villagers is to just cure zombie villagers. Their path-finding ai doesn't send them in frustrating directions, and you can lure them to the exact place you want them to go. I would cure two, then set up a mini breeder to get more villagers with good trades.

TheMasterCaver posted a message on Found two Pink Sheep!Posted in: Survival ModeMultiple pink sheep nearby is due to a bug (in the vast majority of cases):
MC-2788 Sheep wool color doesn't generate/randomize properly; generating villages resets world RNG
Or rather, two bugs; first, the game uses the "world" RNG, which is normally used for random events like the number of items dropped with Fortune, for structure generation, with villages and temples setting it to the same seed within 32x32 chunk regions (the grid size they generate at, with one structure with a random offset within each region; and second, sheep use the "world" RNG instead of their own private RNG (every entity has one) to determine their wool color when they spawn (other entities with variations, like horses, will be different for every instance of a seed since the entity RNG is not seeded by the world seed or chunk coordinates).
Because of this, flocks of sheep will have the same wool colors within 32x32 chunk regions (provided their individual spawn attempts succeed in the same sequence; e.g. attempt 1 may be white, 2 pink, 3 white, 4 black, etc up to 12 total attempts to spawn up to 4 sheep), and it is possible to reproduce this with a seed (as mentioned above, other entities with variations are random; even villagers, which are specific to the structure they spawned in, will have different trades).
I've found several pink sheep nearby once in vanilla, with several instances of a single pink sheep in several of my modded worlds, using my own mod which fixed the aforementioned bug so it is very unlikely to find more than one pink sheep in the same area*. At the same time, they are far easier to find since every chunk, instead of 1024 chunk regions, has a different "color pattern", which increases per-chunk variation by a factor of 1024-fold; I've seen several more in recent weeks while updating my mod, always only one at a time (I found two in my last Survival world, in widely separated areas. Finding only one at a time is not a disadvantage in that you can breed them with any other color to get more since pink does not combine with any other color so the game will randomize the color between the parents).
*These are the chances of having 0-4 pink sheep within a flock, calculated over 1 billion flocks. In vanilla these are the chances per 32x32 chunk region, so you have to explore an average of around 156424 chunks to find any pink sheep, an area which exceeds the size of my first world, where I've found just one such region. When calculated per-chunk instead of per-region this becomes only about 5092 chunks (based on a 10% chance of passive mobs in a chunk and a 30% chance that they will be sheep (using the 1.6.4 spawn chances, they are slightly less in newer versions due to more types of passive mobs), not including biomes which do not have passive mobs), which over 30 times less area to cover and consistent with finding two pink sheep in my last world:
Found 993453690 flocks of sheep with 0 pink sheep; 99.34537% of / 1 in 1.0065894 flocks
Found 6530239 flocks of sheep with 1 pink sheep; 0.6530239% of / 1 in 153.13376 flocks
Found 16043 flocks of sheep with 2 pink sheep; 0.0016043% of / 1 in 62332.48 flocks
Found 28 flocks of sheep with 3 pink sheep; 0.0000028% of / 1 in 35714285 flocks
Found 0 flocks of sheep with 4 pink sheep; 0.0% of / 0 in 1000000000 flocks - To post a comment, please login.

I don't really think that this should happen as strays only spawn in cold boimes, IMO it would ruin the lore/feel/uniqueness of strays.
That said maybe instead of spiders they could ride polar bears. (Polar bears are useless).

Step 1. Splash creepers with inviso potions
Step 2. Get a safe vantage point.
Step 3. Watch the fire works.
Step 4. Evil laugh.
Step 5. Get banned from server for greifing...

Well as an alternative to leather no.
But if it were to have a different use then this would be great.
The animal cruelty thing though... It's a game with fake animals? That's just my opinion but I never thought it mattered if you killed animals in a game.

When most players come across a swamp biome, what do they do? Farm slimes or get lily pads.
Nothing else! (At least from what I see). So I think there should be an exclusive wood found only in the swamp biome.
Swamp wood.
Ok so it would have the same uses as all woods (crafting, building etc.)
What would it look like? Simple, look behind a painting! There is a un-used wood texture behind paintings so there you go!
Now along with deserts, swamps need to be improved so an exclusive wood could be the first step to improving them.
P.s. post other ideas to improve swamps (maybe deserts) in the comments.

Ok first. You missed a pun about purpose/pourpus
Second. I think that this is a really good idea, however we already have boats. So riding them would be cinda useless.
Third. I think that they should attack polar bears and polar bears should attack them. That would be cool.
