    1. All CPU's need a CPU cooler, which is why every CPU comes with a cooler. You can buy aftermarket CPU coolers if you want to overclock. Case fans come with your case. The only reason to get different case fans are if you want quieter fans or better performing fans, or if you want a specific color scheme (the default case fans are 99% of the time fine unless they are defective somehow, in which case you can generally get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    2. Yes probably, but unless you're careful you could easily end up getting a CPU cooler or case fan that's worse than the defaults.
    3. Yes, you would need to get a wifi card to be able to connect to your wifi.

Oh, so all CPU's already have a CPU cooler and all PC's have a case fan already, and the extra ones are optional, right? But I'm going to probably need an optical drive thing (for gaming as some games I'll probably use a disc for instead of download) and I might need a wifi card so I could connect to wifi (sorry that I forgot to put it in my main post before). So, because I don't know which parts are compatible and because I don't know which parts are good or not, may one of you please add a wifi card thing, an ethernet card thing (IF you need one of those too to use ethernet), an optical drive (that works with dvd's and cd's/game discs; I don't care about Blu-ray), and a sound card to this build?(only if the sound card is needed for the sound to work. I don't need it if it isn't needed, though)? Also, please try to not exceed the budget ($620) and being lower than it, when possible, is always better! Thanks for the help.

Also, before I purchase these parts, I have some questions:

-Would a CPU cooler and/or a case fan be necessary for me to have for gaming?

-If I added a random CPU cooler, a case fan, and/or an optical drive to the build, would those parts still be compatible to the rest of the system?

-Also, would some sort of "Expansion Card / Networking Card" be needed for the build to be wireless and compatible with my internet/wi-fi, or would the build already be wireless/network compatible? Thanks.

I don't need a monitor, keyboard, or mouse and I'm sorry for not adding that earlier. But, now that you bring that up, just make sure that the GPU is compatible with this monitor:

    http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/hp-w1707/4507-3174_7-32903931.html

If the GPU that one of you guys pick doesn't have a VGA socket and only has a DVI one and/or a HDMI socket, then there's also no need to worry. I have plug-in speakers and headphones that could cover the sound while a DVI cable covers the video.

Hey, guys. I need help building a PC (not the actual building part but ordering the parts and all). Can anyone please help me get this sorted out?

    Keep these in mind, please!:

    Budget: $620 USD (US Dollars)

Games I Wish To Purchase/Play: Minecraft, Cube World, CoD Black Ops II, Far Cry 3, Battlefield 3, *CoD Ghosts*, and *Splinter Cell: Blacklist* are the ones I mainly want to play. *(Game Name)* shows games that I would love to play, but wouldn't mind if I couldn't

Also (Games): I plan on also playing mod packs on Minecraft such as Hexxit, FTB, etc. Also wouldn't mind if I could kick in some shaders on at least just vanilla Minecraft.

Settings of Games: Settings on High to Ultra/Max

Recording: Yes. I'll do it with an on-screen recorder (Dxtory) and plan to record in 720p.

Parts of PC: Honestly, I don't mind at all what parts you guys choose as I'll be appreciating your service in the first place (As long as they're working and are compatible, though, obviously). There's also no need to worry about the OS, as I have a Windows 7 Home Premium booklet-thingy.

Anyway, I'm very sorry if I'm sounding too picky or if I'm asking for to much! Thanks for the help!

I would suggest enabling the debug mode to get a crash log. Then post it here. That way we can see exactly what is going on.

Thanks, man! I'll do that and post it if it comes up after it crashes next time. (Shouldn't take that long for it too crash again...lol)

So, what do you guys think of the future update, 1.7? Do you have any suggestions of what you would absolutely love if Mojang added it? What are your thoughts and opinions on this update. In my opinion, I would absolutely love some new biomes and, as of now, I really like the idea of this update.

For any suggestions, I would like for there to be some special villager village in the Redwood Forest/ Giant Forest biome. When I first saw that biome, I thought of Endor from Star Wars. So how about some special village houses that are built in/on the trees up high and are all connected by bridges, planks, and platforms just like the little Ewok villages in Star Wars. That's just my random idea that I thought would be cool for that biome.

Incase you guys don't even know what I'm talking about, here are some pictures of the upcoming features planned in 1.7:

Extreme Hills Biomes with Spruce Trees:

Processor is ok, you might want to get one a bit better but I think that, as long as it's quad-core, you'll be atleast fine. The 32GB of RAM is definately way too much and the max amount of RAM should be 8GB as they say (I say minimum amount of RAM for gaming is 4GB). The
Hard Drive speed and capacity is great. The GPU however is horrible for gaming though. So basically:

Processor - OK (Quad-core is will atleast be pretty decent for gaming)
RAM - Overkill (I would suggest no more than 8GB, but no less than 4GB)
GPU - Bad (Most and probably all Intel GPU's are integrated and low-end. I would recommend a decent NVIDIA or AMD graphics card)
HDD - Great (7200RPM is amazing and 1TB is great for daily-work, projects, and gaming and/or recording.

posted a message on Why Does Magic Launcher Keep Crashing?
My Magic Launcher keeps crashing for some odd reason. No, it's not when I try to launch it (as it launches perfectly and easily), it crashes/closes without notice or warning while I'm in the middle of the game. Whether that be while I'm play Singleplayer or on a server, playing hunger games with an iron sword and iron armor about to own this guy in deathmatch, the game/launcher just crashes randomly. Please tell me why this is happening if you happen to know the reason and how I can fix it. It's a very annoying bug/glitch and I really appreciate everyone who helps. Thanks.

    Addition Information:

-When it crashes, nothing pops up. No "You have run out of memory" and no "Minecraft has crashed! Enter this log to Mojang". It just crashes and acts like nothing in the world has just happened.

-I am using a legal/official/paid for Minecraft/Mojang account to play Minecraft. I am not pirating or illegally using Minecraft.

-Yes, I'm using mods, but only one. I'm currently using Optifine_1.6.2_HD_U_B4.zip. I have no Modloader/Forge active or in use. The Optifine status says "OK" and it is working properly.

-My Minecraft version is 1.6.2. I update the game properly and as it is supposed to be.

-My Magic Launcher version is the current, as-of-this-post latest. I'm using the Magic Launcher version
    1.1.7

The numbers you get on Passmark rarely translate into real world performance so I would suggest against using that, and use something like this instead. It's not perfect but still significantly better.

As for what GPU you need, it really depends on the resolution you play that, not that Minecraft would be a hard game to run. I'd suggest something at the tier of HD 4000 or higher at 1366x768. Pretty much any AMD APU, A6 or higher, would also be capable of that.

Thanks, man! :D That link was WAY better in my opinion too, and I will definately use the info you provided. If anyone else has any suggestions then feel free to post, but I think he already gave me the answer.

posted a message on Laptop Graphic Card Benchmarking Numbers
I heard that different Graphic Cards have different Passmarks/Benchmarks that are measured in numbers from usually 0 to a various numbers in the 1,000's. (Highest I've seen was around 5,000). Well, if the higher the Passmark the better, then what "Passmark G3D Mark" is best (what number) for playing Minecraft on either Max Settings, or Max Settings with just the Render Distance on Normal instead of Far with a mostly stable FPS of 40+. Thanks for your time and assistance.

P.S.: I recommend that you use a link such as this:...but if you use another please also give me the link.
    http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php

And if you still don't understand my question, I'm asking which Passmark G3D Number would contain graphic cards to play Minecraft on my requested settings. (Is it usually GPU's with a Mark of around 2,000? Is it usually GPU's with a Mark of 1,000-1,500 and so on.) And once again, thanks.

Actually the GPU on that one is clocked ~30% lower than on the A10 one, same thing with the CPU.

Oh, thanks for telling me, I honestly had no clue. In that case, I would go with probably the first one on aceattwister's list.

I would either go with one of aceattwister's or this one:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834216450
This one does have a smaller hard drive than the first one on aceattwister's list and the first one on aceattwister's list does have a better graphics card, but it's only by a VERY small amount. Just go with this one if you think 640 GB would be enough, or go with the first one on his list if you would like 1 TB of memory for just $50 more.

I agree with B3asti3 B0y. An Intel HD graphics card is known for not being the best when it comes to Minecraft and gaming period. I would of recommended a laptop, but the one that WhyAmIOnFire chose is about just as good and would be even cheaper.
