RS-NOR and T Flip Flop both work, depending on what the OP needs.
So does a wire that is extended the perfect distance to not update and stay turned on. The point is, what's the best way to do it?

Actually no, you told him to use an rs nor nor klatch, an rs nor isnt that useful in this case. And thats what a t flip flop is for anyways, to make a button/pressure plate to act as a lever
It's to make any pulse input act as a lever.
I currently have a lever, that sends out a pulse to a t-flip flop.

I can't say it's the best story, cuz then I'd be saying it's better than mine and, well, I just can't do that. So, because none of the other choices are adequate, I'll refrain from voting.Posted in: Fan Art
EDIT: Just realized, I should've posted here BEFORE my story. You are now higher than me. :sad.gif: RAGEQUIT.
Seriously though, it's a great story. Definitely has some good humour, and that's always nice in a story.
Jan 3, 2012Update 12 - REWRITING THE STORY! I'm writing it through bob's perspective. Different writing personality, more descriptive, first person. It's a journal, by the legendary bob himself. Where did the trekking take him? DID THE BACON MAKE IT? Keep checking back to find out. I plan on updating this with chapter 1 and chapter 2 by today, and completely removing the old version.Posted in: Literature
It's a bit of a drastic change from what's before, but I personally like this a bit more. It's got some humour in it, I've started it out a little differently, and a lot is gonna change. The basic storyline will be there, main events will be there. Same story, different perspective really..

I was considering that but I want to make sure the map could easily be played on multiplayer.
Sign? Tell em "YO. YOU CAN'T GET OUT OF HERE ONCE YOU HIT DIS BUTTON. MAKE SURE ALL PLAYERS ARE IN THE ROOM!"
Or stone pressure plates? Have a button at the start dictate how many players are in the game, and then and however many are required together..
Also, you could put a button on something, attach it to an RS-NOR and when the button is pushed, the block it's on get's destroyed. :smile.gif: Or the button gets destroyed by moving the block it's on.

Its really not as complicated as you may think.
The "top" line pulses. Then the "bottom" one will shortly after due to the delay both sharing the output.
He already solved your problem. Why are you still discussing it?

Well I mistook my design, it's actually 20m3.
Your latest design, in a compacted form, is 24m3. All in all, nope. Not to mention that you neglected to place a repeater on the top input; leaving that out could cause a malfunction.
Now can we all stop trying, and just accept the fact thet Metapig has the smallest possible vertical AND gate?

Awesome :biggrin.gif: Do post it. I wanna see ^-^
Gonna be about 15 minutes to upload. My internet connection isn't the best lol. Plus, I am rendering it in 720P, so it's an adequate size..

First design of the block deleter functions quite well as a micro-pulse generator. The pulses are quite fast. You can't see the redstone light up.
The pulses generated are, dare I say it... Under 1 game tick. This is why some outputs won't even work. Sometimes the pistons disappear. Sometimes the blocks disappear, pistons hooked up to the output delete the blocks.. Doors don't open. It's the fastest pulse possible to generate, and oh, it's a clock.
DID I WIN? :biggrin.gif:

I would say 'why?' but then I say to myself 'redstoners' =P
However it might be nice to see something which has a little more redstoney stuff. On the redstone forums anyway... Sorry if this sounds rude but it is a bit simple for this forum =p Because a lot of people already knew it.
If I were you I'd try to make on of those chest lock things out of buttons with self resetting rs-nors and stuff =D. That'd be a bit more impressive. Then try and compact that =D.
Good creations though =D. Keep it up!
I remade it using buttons. T-Flip Flops, not RS-NORs though, so it's not COMPLETELY like what you said. :smile.gif: Uploading video of it now.
Oh, and I almost compacted the original.
