Yup, you can buy addons from the Microsoft store it's like in game purchases just like you have with phone apps.
The windows 10version of Minecraft is somewhat a Pocket edition version.
I don't know if you can refund it and buy the original one (the one from the picture) because that includes the Windows 10 version aswell.
and it would be a waste of money to have it twice.
If you buy the full version of Minecraft (the one from the picture) you can install mods.
when you decide to buy the full version and need help with setting the mods up you can message me (or look on youtube

It's kinda the same as Pocket edition. If i'm correct you need to buy the full game of minecraft on the website to play with mods.
Hope this helped you a bit.
if you need more information let me know,
1. You didn't state what version of MC your playing
2. You didn't post a crash report or any log to provide useful information
We can't help you unless you help us.
Yup if you would like us to help you solving the problem we need some more information.
you could try to reset your minecraft and install optifine again? (and maybe check if you have the latest version of Java)
Well if it still crashes your game it means it's still there
maybe double check if it's not there.
If not recreating the modpack maybe that helps and if your making the modpack via Twitch dekstop app (Old Curse launcher)
Maybe it helps to click "repair minecraft"
You need to make a minecraft server for it to work, because your friend doesn't live in the same house LAN won't work as you said.
For the server you need Forge and atleast 4 GB of ram (more is better)
Hosting it on your own pc is a option but most of the time this will significantly decrease your Fps because it uses your RAM for the server aswell.
You could host it with a minecraft hosting but that cost's money every month.
If you have some Dollar's (euro , pound etc...) to spend every month you could use Shockbyte.com it's a good host.
If you need help with setting up a server on your own pc i'm open to help but i reccomend hosting one.
no fsp decrease and it's online 24/7
Mods or commands for minecraft version 1.2.9?
That's like really really old school don't even know if they have mods for that version haha.
don't you mean 1.12?

Hello My game crashes when I try to join my own server. It says I have rejected mods. MineFactory Reloaded Compat: Forestry, Galacticraft Core, Galacticraft Mars, Forestry, MagicBees. Also I have Biomes O' Plenty installed and in singleplayer I don't have the option of to create a BIOMESOP world. Any help is apprectiated
You need to have the same mods as your server has, same version same mods.
And if you can't create a BIOMESOP world that means you don't have the BiomesOP mod or it doesn't work.
could be a different version of your mod then your mc version is

See those ME Controllers are so you can extend your system with more ME Drives.
