In the next update we are adding the "story" line to the mod.. here here in the full backstory:
Trinia, now in ruins, once ruled by four great kings. Over time the great kings lost control of the world, and the Trinia caved in on it’s self. Now all that lays is in ruins. No one knows why the four great kings ran in fear. All those who survived know one thing, the world is not safe. Those who tell of folktale, a tales of these great kings say they are still alive. But in hiding from a great evil, that not even the high heavens approach it. This great evil will conquer and destroy all those who oppose it, now in the time of need, will there be someone to destroy this evil.
Trinia, a world lost in time. Four Kingdoms once stood upon this great world. There was many kingdoms put upon the world. But many combined and took upon 4 kingdoms. They listened to the high heavens, and were protected. But the four kings were corrupted with power, with all the money in the world, they left the high heavens bidding. But as the world trembled a great evil appeared. As the Kings asked for the Heavens help they did not. Causing the Four great kings to disappear. Leaving its people behind to suffer what was to come of Trinia. Now only those who survived, Phantom builders tell of stories. Many searched for the great kings, but never found them. Those who wonder the world now look for riches. But only to find the world destroyed, and in ruins. The world is in chaos, leaving only murder, and a destructive society. This evil leaves behind wandering evil beings. The people wander the land, looking for a way out, only to find themselves trap in a never ending world. Now the people look to you, the man that once fought the evil, but was defeated. Now the Heavens gave you one more chance, to fulfill your promise, to fulfill there deed. You now adventure the world looking for this evil source. To find and kill the evil source once more.

Is anyone else think its a bit irritating that all you see on the Yogscast new video about it is "ADD TO SHADOW OF ISRAPHAEL NAO!" even though the should know * well its only solo?

The lightswitch: Turns on/off the lights in the grinder. Its the simple version of lights. In order to activate small spawn this must be switched off, then the floodgate, and then it must be turned on again.
The floodgate switch: This turns the water flow on/off to push the mobs into the grinder area. Or just lower the light level of the floor slightly.
The floor switch: This opens and closes the floor so they fall into the grinder area or not. When the floor isnt open it allows mobs to group before pushing them all in the grinder for a "load kill". This also allows for safe maintence so you dont fall in the grinder after done working. The switch for the iron maintence door is above the door.
No Spawn: The light level is high enough where they dont spawn. This level prevents spawning and puts the grinder on "sleep mode".
Low spawn: The room is lit, but since the water brings the light levels down a bit they spawn. This level spawns about 2-3 skeletons per minute.
Medium Spawn: You open the floor area to let a small amount of torch and lava light in and the middle piston in the ground gives off a small amount of light. It a bit more then medium but not quite high. This level spawns about 3-5 skeletons per minute.
High spawn: There is no light coming into the room except for maybe a wee bit of torch light coming from the doorway. This level spawns about 6-7 skeletons per minute
The dungeon is 7x7 itself with a full mossy floor. The floor switch is 7x1 and when the floor is closed it makes the dungeon 7x8
PS: I posted this in a discussion about what people made with pistons, but I made a new thread so people can tell me a few adjustments or ideas i can add to it
