That's bloody confusing. I had something similar. Seems like Microsoft is trying trick people getting Bedrock or that XBOX/MS non-Java Version of the game.

Lack of clarity of whats going on is not something Mojang done in the past. I fear Java's day maybe numbered if they keep this crap up.

Is Forge still being made for newer MC games? I found that some my go-to mods i used Forge for aren't using it anymore.

    NavalClash Update

The server continues on, with faction warfare using the SavageFactions spiot and using our Navycraft spigot.

    To stimulate game play, staff runs weekend tournaments using specified vehicles with selected weapons, such;

    • Ship2 Tournaments - Small Warships, with dedicated crew of players fighting for 100,000 credits per crew, losers getting 50,000 while gaining more experience points you don't normally get!
    • Hangar1 Air Tournament - Bring your own plane, with selected weapons. Showing your skills as a player pitting in Free-4-All combat in the air! First of Best of 5 kills (highest percentage) wins 50,000 credits!
    • Ship3 Carrier Tournament - Two Aircraft Carriers face off with crews man the planes! Who will sink the other's carrier first? Will other ship lose all the planes before it's too late?!? 100,000 Credits to each of the winner's crewmembers, while 50,000 per losing crewmember.

As reminder, only thing you need is enable to texture pack when you first join! Or you can get a older one from Planetminecraft here and here!

posted a message on Will my PC run Java?

There are older versions of Minecraft that aren't as demanding as the current / latest ones. I'd play around with them, however you may lose out on features they've added.

posted a message on MineCon 2020 (in-person event + live stream?!)

Question will be will it capture the magic Mojang and Minecraft had before it was purchased? There hasn't been any significate development that has enhanced minecraft experiences as much as it used too.

Biggest development has been Minecraft Earth. However, i don't see the lure of it.

There some that don't use movecraft stuff, such as like regular boat but it's bigger structure. There other ways doing it. Frankly there isn't alot lag in-comparison to some places i've been on.

Its not dying, but it's fading to smaller population. Many of the places i go to there more bots pretending to be players than actual players on the server. Kinda creepy weird.

posted a message on Built-in Movecraft in Minecraft

With 1.13, we got see ships as wrecks under the sea.

For many years now, one few reasons i actually play Minecraft still, is there are mods essentially move large structures as they can be real vehicles.

I've seen ones setup unlike the current boat, we have large sail ships now that are wrecks. Can we have this part of Minecraft?

Minecraft vehicles have existed for many years now, maybe around 8-10 years. Why not allow for something like that?

I know focus of the game is to mine, build, but this part that mentality.

posted a message on Has 1.13 broken minecraft?

I'm just sticking with 1.12.x and that's that. Mojang's team is coding and not doing enough testing see what their code doing on lesser machines. I know MS tries force people to upgrade, but that not always option. I play only on semi-vanilla servers and modded servers. 1.13.x stuff is just too iffy with the mc now.

I wish to hell they would done more testing before releasing this version. I wonder how soon 1.14 suppose to be coming since it suppose to be the other half of the update for the Java users.

posted a message on Is Minecraft Dying...?

In my eyes, the Win10 was effort to ween off existing players and new players off Java so MS didn't have pay Orcale the owners of Java any kind money and keep total control of their multi-million dollar game they paid perhaps WAY TOO MUCH FOR.

Sure, Java isn't most stable software out there. It could be exploited if your not careful, but it ability to be made into so much more. I'm only heard that C+++ version of Minecraft aka Win10 is not easy at all to modify. MS does have history of not liking people monkey around with ThEIR CODE.

I'm actually surprised 1.13 is coming out for Java at all.

posted a message on Is Minecraft Dying...?

I think the better reframe the question as: Is JAVA version of Minecraft drying?

I would say it's struggling. Microsoft has no love for Java due to issues with rival company, Oracle, who owns Java.

Thus MS would like see Mojang move on from Java. It's vulnerable, it's modded all the time and it's harder to code than what Win10 version and bedrock versions are, they can't be modded to extent that Java can.

Thus i say maybe within 5 years we will see change from Java. It won't be good, for myself anyways. Since i prefer the modded serves of mc. Why heck would i want be stuck in generic pay-to-play version MC that has less flexibility in it? Nope.

posted a message on Guesses of when 1.13 releases? Comment down bellow

Depends on how resistant the bugs being splattered in the Java version are. They had alot bugs from what I've read so far.

New MC could come out in like August or September. Depends how many coders Mojang still has who does Java.
