Here a second one because I was the bottom of the barrel in nooby-ness...
My first survival world...
I had found the perfect place, it was on a peninsula where mobs could only attack me from one direction. I got ready. I crafted a wooden sword and I planted my 4x1 wheat farm. It was almost night. I had found some coal and I made torches. I placed them all around my starter base. I placed them all around, making sure that my whole base was lit up leaving no dark spots. I THOUGHT TORCHES CREATED SOME SORT OF FORCE FIELD THAT DIDN'T ALLOW MOBS TO ENTER TO ATTACK YOU!
And with that epic noob torch fail I waited all night to see just one horrific zombie, skeleton, enderman, spider, or creeper, my heart beating the whole time in fear (lol, the noob days when you got scared of mobs). But nothing was spawning! I was so confused. I DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT PEACEFUL MEANT!
Lel, I hope you all enjoyed Wraith's tale of nooby-ness.
Oh boy do I have one! I downloaded Minecraft back in 1.5 (or 1.6, can't quite remember). I only played in creative and never tried survival (was to scared). On my first actual world that was not a flatland world were I punched villagers all day; I decided to build a house inside of a mountain. Because EVERYONE knows that those are the easiest to build, so I grabbed my oak wood and got to work. Then suddenly I pressed space 2 times instead of one and I started flying as you would expect. At the time I knew there was a fly mechanic, but I never knew how to use it. I HAD NO IDEA HOW TO GET DOWN. In desperation I went on the wiki, it said to double tap space to stop flying, but for some reason I didn't do it correctly. Thus I continued to push space sending me higher and higher until I couldn't see the ground.
Then I gave up and deleted the world I had spent hours and hours on because I didn't know how to use the space bar correctly...
So I'm trying to hide an easter egg using redstone. And I cant figure out how, I'd like to do one where either you have to put in a code to be able to access a room, or you have to turn on a bunch of pressure plates to be able to. If anyone knows a video or a way to do this could you post?
I'm not a redstone genius so this is why I am asking.
So I have a automatic wool farm (Xisumavoid's design) and I want to afk at it, I need to right click at it, and I know how to afk doing that. Is there a way to right click afk while exiting out of minecraft to do other things (i'm on a server if that is any difference).
If your target has a named horse that's pretty special, breed up horses until you get one that's identical or extremely close in coloration but much worse attributes-wise. Name it the same as target's horse, then take it to target's base and swap horses (all the items that were on the horse are to be transferred. Hide target's horse at your base. For added challenge, ride him around just enough that someone can see you on a "new" horse.
Fill in all the walkway areas of target's base with wool.
Leave gift chest at target's doorway with a book telling target that should he want to solve the puzzle you've left him a full chest full of "shiny blue rocks". Maps hidden in other chests leading to more maps, leading to X marks the spot at a really really far away place, finally ending at a chest full of light blue wool.
Fill up all of target's storage chests with poisonous potatoes. This will require a basically endless potato farm to overcome the spawn rarity of this item, and even then it'll take forever.
Build a tiny hole-in-the-wall type of minibase within viewing distance of his front door. Standard outpost type of furnishings (bed, crafting table, furnaces and a chest). Fill the chest with an assortment of random journals to give the impression that "someone's been watching me!". If you are close with target, perhaps you can even include little comments of what he's actually done recently to give it a more specific yet personal touch.
In front of all the doors to buildings on target's base, place 2 blocks to match the 4 blocks to either side, hiding the door completely.
Under where it says "Select additional mods to install:", click Add and add the Optifine .jar file. Then patch and it will install Optifine along side XRay.

Would you mind posting pictures of it if you changed it?

Oh I forgot to mention there is an anti-grief plugin, you can't break or access other peoples chests.

Thanks, I might put some of these to use, I do like one of the ones that kinda annoy people a little, like the carpet in hallway prank.

So I'm playing on a whitelist, vanilla, no griefing/raiding server, and I'm in a prank war with a few other players.
I'm trying to think of some fun harmless pranks (killing, lava, water, wither, etc banned) and I can't think of any.
If anyone knows any could you share?
Here's one prank I've already done to give a taste of war...
