Years playing: About a year and a half
What is your skin?: Steampunk Lord! http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/27065/steampunk-lord/
Country: USA
Awesomeness (1-10): 8 (just trying to be honest lol)
Building Style (Paragraph): My main project in single player is a cave dug out of a mountain and I'm finishing the inside adding functional rooms such as potion rooms, enchanting rooms, mob systems, etc, and making it feel more like a home than a cave. I also enjoy building multi-floor houses (medieval-style with dark wood and cobble are my favorite) with the occasional lookout tower thrown in for good measure. I've also tinkered around with redstone and pixel art and while I'm not great, I'm definitely getting better.
The scrolling isn't broken, Apple implemented the inverted scrolling to create a more unified experience across all their different devices. It's actually very nice an intuitive once you get used to it
Don't wanna be an idiot, but buhuu. One of your wolfs died, surely the whole game must be changed! You need a way to kill your wolves if you don't want it. And they can be healed. A little bar with health would be usefull, but otherwise.. Nah.
Place water over your house (from top to ground)
So the creepers won't have effect!
That would only keep creepers from blowing up the outside of your house. It wouldn't matter if the water's outside and the creepers are inside, which is the problem in the OP
It's not cobblestone, it's a potential new block called Stone brick or something like that. That's the default texture for that block. Here's the wiki article about it.
