    What i had was:
    Since i didnt want to add another block that only has one function, you right click with the hemp leaf to separate the fibres from the seeds.
    Once this has been done you can replant the the plant, it can only be planted with the hemp leaf. This is to prevent abusing.
    With the fibres you can mix them with water to produce hemp slurry which can be cooked in the furnace to make hemp paper.
    Also with the hemp slurry, when my mineables mod is updated im going to be adding lime to it. Which when used with this mod can make hempcrete.
    Which spreads like a liquid but drys into hempcrete blocks.
    Also with the fibres you can make hemp rope. Which can be used in the bow recipe to make a hempstring bow which has double durability.
    The seeds can be used to mate animals and will have some other animal benefit properties.
    You will also be able to mix the seeds with bottled water and heated to produce hempseed oil, which grants you regeneration.
    Also with the hemprope you can place it on the side of a cliff or something, and every time you place another rope onto that rope it runs downward. And hopefully when broken will return the whole rope to you, whether it be the top of bottom.
    This will be used to climb.

    Thats all i can think i wrote down off the top of my head.
    But if you can think of a better system that would be awesome.


    Ill keep it ModLoader unless i need Forge to add a very important feature.
    So ill stay with ModLoader unless its absoultly nessesary.

    another thing you can add is ways to cook hempseed, hemp seeds are one of the most nutitious things you can eat, i would segest adding somthing like hemp seed soup. even if you have to add other stuff to it.

    i wouldnt say leather in books., hemp is a very good way to make paper though

    • When you take a toke in-game you are under 2 effects, hunger and nausea. I'm guessing you used nausea to simulate the effect of being high, but weed does not carry the effect shown and nausea is probably a better portrayal of LSD. Maybe we can figure out another way to simulate it, by enhancing textures etc.
    • When someone is high on weed they have impaired movement, so I was thinking why not slow the player down in game, the better the piece (pipe) the slower the player will go, as well as changing the way you look around to a smoother more cinematic view, which can be done in-game by pressing F8, but it would be cool if that was implemented into your mod as well.
    Well, hopefully you an hear me out! These are just a couple of my ideas that I think can improve the mod a bit and I hope you take them into consideration and I will be happy to help out some more. Even if you don't like my ideas, I still really enjoy playing with your mod and think it is a great addition to Minecraft.

    i would like to respectfully disagree. i honestly like the nausia effect, i feel it simmulates weed quite nice for a game. the way it kind of swirls and such actually dose impare movement by making it alittle difficult to kmeep strait and such. also, the colors thing and textures, not sure how you would make that work without turning it into a halucinagin like substance, that sounds great for like a salvia like substance or shrooms, but not weed.
    i personally think the effects should be left alone, ive tried many strains, im from LA, lived in alaska, and currently live in colorado, all these areas are well known for their weed, and im a cancer survivor, so ive gotten a hold of some preaty strong ****, and i honestly can say that in my opinion the nausia effect is actually a decent portraial of what ive expirienced over the years, at least good enough

    I was thinking about trying to do it myself, im not a fan of high resolution though. :P

    Im still not sure that the drying table fits though.

    normally i dont either, but sphax is one of those it looks kindof off on 16 and even 32, but any size would doo really, thogh 32 or 64 would be prefered. its just the doku craft ones dont really fit in too well with it

    and i guess i can see that, but you should still leave a way to dry it indoors, even if its by light

    What size do you use? 128? 64?

    I tend to use 64 on regular minecraft, 128 can be a bit much for my laptop to handle, but i will probably start using 128 when i finally get my gaming computer built, which wont be for awhile.

    as for the drying thing, most of the time cannabis is dried handing upside down and usually in an enclosed area with good airflow and sometimes a fan. i wouldn't get rid of the drying table completely but something like that would be cool.

    i love it! just like a real cannabis plant. and as someone who has gained quite a bit of knowledge in the area over time, i can say that this method is very realistic and great over all. are you thinking of still making it planted by seeds like in BTW?

Maybe what you can do is when you break the plant, it drops both the bud and the leaf, then the leaf can either be crafted into seeds by placing it in a crafting grid, or used as a fuel for the furnace( As hemp is a very efficient bio-fuel)

    hemp is a very efficient everything, lol. but ive brought up the bud thing before and his new idea seems to be more realistic. also kief is also used to make hash which would be a nice addition as well.

    its incompatible, ive tried it with both, i haven't tried forge sense he changed it back to sugar cane style, but back then seeds didnt drop, and secret rooms just crashes.

    if your gona add **** like that dont do it for toke. idk if you you have ever been high, but weed never makes you halucinate, trust me im high right now and im not halucinating. i did have an awsome idea for a mod, add another dimention that is like an acid trip, or like my original idea, wonderland (as in the books alice in wonderland and through the looking glass) and make that like the result of a halucinagin, or it would be cool to make a mod like that some day, i wish i was beter at moding
