i did a similar thing on the botania thread, because of all of the crap that vazkii get's for nerfing his mod. if people don't like how a modder chooses to make their mod, then don't play it
While I can agree with that, suggesting a different mod to use is more than a little tacky here. If it was another post with someone asking for help for a mod pack or something, fine, not cool in the post for a mod though.
How possible would it be to throw in a config option for dynamic EMC that forces it to use either the highest possible calculated value or the lowest possible calculated value for a block? Something like that could help with the hiccup caused by ore dictionary kerfuffles like EU's colored blocks, and it'd add a nice difficulty toggle for servers to decide on.
Before you guys go crazy, I wouldn't count on it this weekend. It is the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and while it *might* give him some extra time, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with no time to work on it with family obligations and all that. I'm thinking we probably have at *least* two more weeks with time required for final tests and bug squashing.
Hoping nothing nasty crops up and happy Thanksgiving, Mith.
While I certainly do not know how the developer put everything together, if when making their mod specific wood they extended vanilla Minecraft's wood, then this is a problem with those other mods. If they created a new fresh class (or extended from something other than vanilla's 'Wood' class) then they could be at fault... but it is likely still the other developer's responsibility to add compatibility to their mod, not this developer's.
We will just have to wait for a response from the developer to know which...
Forge has something called the Ore Dictionary. While it sounds counter-productive at first, if you add any material you add (wood in this case) to it, you can make it an extension of the vanilla version of that and make it so other mods recognize it if they too use the dictionary.
I had an issue with the new fortress and Mo Creatures. It's spawn priority completely overwhelmed the goblins, so you might need to work whatever magic it is you did for the Ur Ghast towers to keep them from having that same issue.
I used to be a big "Xbox is better than Playstation!" person, and after the announcement of Xbox One... Well, I don't know how many sales they'll make on Minecraft for that, mostly because I'm still wondering how many sales the One will get at all.
As said on prior pages: The config option for how many levels you lose on death does not appear until you die as a mage. Once you do that it will be added to the config. There is a page on the wiki that can help if you wish to set it up earlier.
Found my first dungeon that you added, I really like the maze part, though I imagine it was supposed to be a lot more dangerous. It seems all the spawners in it were spawned as pig spawners instead of what ever monster was intended. It was in a stone brick dungeon if that makes any difference in them.
SMP server community: Be picky and careful and you'll find a gem eventually. Just be prepared to slog through endless amounts of muck to get there.
Forum community: I rarely come on here anymore due to there being other, much less irritating, sources of information. But hey! It's still better than the Diablo 3 community.
I actually think getting the beacon is fairly easy, but the value of the beacon vs the actual time requirement is way off. If I'm going to do something to show off how much time I spent on a world, I'd rather it look better than a bar of light and a joke of a buff.
dimond, and do you really need to know why IT HAS OVER 9000 usses
*puts on his nerd glasses*
Actually, it only has around 1500, which turns into an average of 6000 uses with unbreaking III.

Diamond pick is the best so far as I'm concerned. Without a diamond pick, or a large amount of luck with NPC chests, you cannot get obsidian to get an enchanting table.

The old cart boosters that relied on a long fixed glitch.
I'm not saying I dislike progress, just filling your request.

So it fits just perfect in a thread like this, I'm glad you noticed that.
