Had anyone seen this this crash before? It seems to be an issue with the Banshee in the Wildycraft realm. As far as I know, it hasn't happed in SP, but it's crashing my SMP server. I'm running forge 1772, and you can see the mods I have installed in the list of the crash report.
Hello all! I wanted to let people know in case you are not part of the steam group. Please do NOT go to the wildycraft dimension on the server. For some reason the Banshee NPC is crashing the server. I'm copying the crash log to the Wildycraft thread now in hopes someone can help me out since it's somewhat of a generic error.
um i have joined the steam group but i dont use steam so much and im not whitelisted minecraft username is same as all my usernames
It looks like you never filled out the application form. This needs to be done before you will be able to connect. Please see the OP for a link to that app form.

-Updated Extra Utilities config to enable the recipes for blocks and items that were not removed.
-Updated Forbidden Magic config to change wrath cages so they use a very small amount of essentia, but are more efficient with it now
-Updated More Swords Mod config to increase the amount and change that the Wisdom enchant drops extra XP bubbles. Also changed it so mobs will no longer spawn with MSM swords. (lol zombie spawning with an Adminium Ark)
-Updated Natural Absorption config to have players gain absorption from wearing armor. It will still provide damage resistance. Increased change to get Absorption when enchanting armor. Changed absorption shields to naturally recover instead of waiting to be out of combat for 200 ticks.
-Updated Spice of Life to only keep a record of two last eaten foods, but that record no longer clears on death
-Updated Weapons mod to disable Battleaxe and Warhammer as they ignored PvP settings
you should add the magiccrusade mod it adds classes and a lvling system to the game and sates and stuff h
I had wanted to add this at one point in time, and tried several times, but it conflicted with multiple mods in the pack, and unfortunately it wasn't worth removing the other ones in order to get this to work. It seems like it's more of a complete overhaul (similar to orespawn) and kinda belongs in a pack by itself or with no a lot of other mods.
Ahh sorry about that. Someone was probably exploring. The machine it's hosted on right now doesn't handle terrain gen well. I just rebooted it- should be back up any minute.

Ya i see where you are coming from, i was thinking from a single player stand point. I think there is a server mod that allows you to copy a world (end) and make an instance of this world for other players when they enter it and after they are done it deletes the world. What you could do is if the server is an rpg instead of survival you could create a quest to "kill the ender dragon" and use that server mod. Then if the world was copied but the dragon was not all you would have to do is set up some commands that spawn it in the individual instances. But idk if there is a server mod like that just saying because me and a friend were making a server that required something similar to copying worlds and deleting them. Just throwing out ideas. Thx for reading comments and replying.
Hhmm if I could find something like that, it could work. As I think about it more, I would like to add that mod back. I'm sure I can come up with something to do for the server :3
Edit: I'm a derp. I can totally add the egg to the dungeon loot list as an incredibly rare treasure drop :3 Consider it done in the next update. Also, after playing with Tails, I enjoy it very much, but I'm not satisfied that it's quite up to being a replacement for Custom Player Models (seems like they would go good together, but Noppes has a lot more features). I'll see if there is another version that's less buggy I can try.
If you don't mind i would like to make a mod suggestion and that is Dragon Mounts but that is up to you to add. Thank you for this awesome mod pack and for all your hard work in making it come together.

EDIT: It didn't seem to make much of a difference - although it may have cleared up 75% of the spikes.
I checked F3, and it seemed to dip my DPS down from 100 to 80, and my RAM usage from 2,300MB to 2,500MB RAM, every time it froze for a split second.
Hmm. That's very odd. I can't really think of what else may be causing it. Have you tried adding optifine to the pack to see if it helps? I would like to have you try it out out of curiosity and maybe set your chuck loading to a shorter distance just to see if that helps. When you make a map, are you going into the world options and enabling 'Biomes O' Plenty' for the terrain gen type? Let me know Thanks!

Since I am hosting this from my home (for the moment) I need to keep track of how many players are playing it at any given point so as to not cap my bandwidth and have my ISP cut my net. Eventually I would like to do a paypal fun raiser to get enough money to buy a proffesionally hosted server for at least a year- but that's a ways off.

Hmm that's odd. That should be more than enough. Did you change the launcher settings to make sure it has 512mb of perm gen ram? Possibly try setting it up like this, and let me know if it helps or not. If not, we can do some more troubleshooting.
Installing worked fine, installed 72 mods, however, upon trying to connect to the main server, I was disconnected.

Edit: There's a red cross on the server menu, on the server it self, saying there's only 69 mods present.
Hm. I had to backport Decocraft- I'll make sure the right version is in the modpack. And yes, the server doesn't have ALL the mods installed cause some of them caused problems in multiplayer, or were hard to balance around. (Helpful NPC's for example.) I'll double check the copy on copy.com right now and update it if I have to. Wait abbbbout.. 15 minutes and delete and reinstall, then it should be updated and you'll have to correct version of Decocraft.
I'll get the alternate download up- thanks for letting me know. Seems dropbox locked my account again. Give it a couple minutes and it'll switch over.
It's not going to be fast sadly.. copy.com is really slow x_x New link should be active if you close the launcher and reopen. I'll try to get a faster upload somewhere.
Tested the mod-pack out - but became unplayable due to frequent frame freezing. FPS was at constant 150, but it would just freeze even when I wasn't exploring. (GTX 680, quad core 4.3GHz so not due to comp).
Also the Quest Log was weird. Told me to go to a 'quest town' yet there was no town there. Very disappointing.
I'm not sure why it's freezing for you as I haven't had any issues like that. Are you sure you allocated enough RAM and you're using java 64bit (Don't use java 8 btw if you can help it, apparently it really dislikes MC)? The quest log is on use on the server, that's why you can't do that quest in single player- the map hasn't been ported there yet. Next update I will include the server map as a single player save game. Thanks for pointing this out!
oddly enough burptech is in 1.6x and 1.5x which means it probably wouldnt make it in unless a miracle happens
and why not add blood arsenal,blood utils,and sanguimancy to make blood magic an alternative to thaumcraft possibly.
I had thought about it, but those mods add some VERY OP items that would be difficult to prevent grief with on a server. There's still a TON of stuff in Blood Magic to make it perfectly happy on its own.

There is a small update incoming to backdate Decocraft. I believe it's causing some server disconnection issues, so I'm going to restore it to an older version to test. Server will be launching tomorrow provided that I've fixed the disconnection issues ^^! Please see the steam group for times!
