My first night/day was also bordering Alpha and Beta, and I watched about 12 of PSJ's tutorials.
I was so hyped up over the game, I completely forgot how to destroy blocks. I knew I should get wood, but it wasn't breaking! (I was just left clicking, not holding it down). Eventually, I gave up and wandered around and found a sheep. Punched it, and it gave me wool, which allowed to me to place it down. Unfortunately, I put it down randomly because I was experimenting. I resolved to sit down under a tree and waited for night, and I have to admit, I was terrified. One zombie killed me soon, and then after that, I was too cowardly to go on Normal. Turned my difficulty to Peaceful, rewatched PSJ's tutorials, and finally figured everything out. I think I got bold enough to turn my difficulty to Normal when I had a friend who started playing Minecraft, and we started playing survival servers together.

And fixed your name on the first page (I hope!). Could you do some coding on herbs and food? Firepaw1337 has given me some textures on herbs, you could use those.

Yeah, I'm working on a Modloader version. How about a (I actually don't know what you should do :/).
The mod is going to be ModLoader, might get around to Forge later.

He went around doing odd jobs for people, managing to get around for some time. Eventually, he found himself penniless, hungry, and no job to do. He was willing to do the job for the odd man he had found. The man offered him a drink first, and being parched, he drank it without any other thought. Falling unconscious, the next time he woke he felt...strange. Looking down, he gasped in shock. Gone, was his human body. Instead, he was now a Gryphon, a creature he thought only told in tales. Feeling betrayal, he fled Emerald City, hoping not to run into his family, but wanting payback on the man who did this to him. So far, he had luck with not running into guards.
