Sure did twice. No bandits at all anywhere except when you walk around and they dont spawn.
Something new today though.. as I still not slept.. that much fun The new it the Miner's quest in getting the 'runite' the room where it is.. the spawn for the lvl 82 -cough- as I been doing enchanting (yeah I know had to cheat to command for lapis_ can only spawn blocks.. but was.. for purple dye leathers.. personal thing) and was only lvl 20 I had a crowd spam spawning in died... died... but managed my 1 ore sample and an ice cube! Still what with all the Fortified chests? special quests? my thieving sneaky ways are calling to pick it!
oh did you try walking up to the windmill's third floor?
in the blood of scabaras quest..do i need to go to the dungeon in the mines??cuz' when i go there..i saw a shrine..and i dont know what to put in there
if you are on apmeken's quest, there is a dungeon in the temple that you need to explore
Question: Next to the church where the first battle of Paragons of Misthalin takes place, there's a mausoleum with a lever in it, saying that the lever only works during that quest. I forgot to flip it at the time. What's it do?
oh that teleports you back down to the ghast fight if you died
I was looking at the wrong page in the quest book. It's Tendrils of Morytania. Sorry. I just gathered up all the Paragon members and talked to Claudius about it, and then talked to Rivon and set my game back before I had a chance to talk to the guys I just assembled..
In that case, run the command /setblock -547 50 1186 redstone_block
hopefully the latest version we are releasing has fixed every issue
It's pretty balanced for the most part. The advancing difficulty of the mobs correlates well with the increasing strength of the armor you find, although I notice this isn't the case with weapons. In the first two or three game days I found a Mithril sword with damage 6 and a 25% speed boost (which I just now noticed acquired Mending somewhere along the way. Huh. I wondered why its durability was going up), and although I have also found an Adamantite sword with damage 7, and a ...shovel... with damage 8.5, the loss of the speed boost, and the slowness of the attack speed on the shovel hasn't made me want to switch to either one. So basically I've been using the same weapon the entire game (I'm on day 61). It's a fine weapon, but a little more variety might be nice. I don't know, though. Maybe I wasn't supposed to find it as quickly as I did.
The only time I really had trouble was in the mine north of Al Khalid. Under the suspended walkway mobs seem to spawn in larger numbers than elsewhere. Since that's where one gets a quest item, it can't be avoided. I actually wound up putting the game in peaceful when I was down there, because the mobs wouldn't leave me alone long enough to pick up what I needed.
Other than that, like I said, it's been good. The minibosses at the end of the quests are difficult enough to be a challenge (maybe die once or twice, but nothing major), but not so difficult as to be frustrating or game-breaking. I've died 84 times, of which maybe a dozen or so are teleport errors (either I forget to add the minus sign in front of the first number, or I misjudge the y-coordinate) resulting in falling out of the world.
I do think the players might benefit from maps of Al Khalid and Avarrocka. In both those cities I often end up lost and simply wander around until I magically come across what I'm looking for. I've done all the the museum quests in Avarrocka, but I couldn't tell you where the museum is. "Somewhere in the north part" is about the best I could come up with.
I'm really enjoying this map, and look forward to the next installment. I've never played Runescape and can't compare this to that, but if they're at all alike I think I'd really enjoy it. Excellent work!
(So, the infinite-money bug I mentioned up above has just set my game back to the end of Tax Collector. Can I have the command for the end of Paragons of Misthalin, please?)
Paragons of Misthalin is quite complicated, which boss have you killed?
Lord Draynor
Lady Vanescula (Ghast)
Lord Drakan (Skeleton)
Lord Drakan (Wither)
It seems like since it's a fairly new map that may not have all the bugs worked out of, you'd like to know where there are issues. Kinda like playtesting.
The first couple of times I talked to General Shadwell, he said that civilians weren't allowed. Then I took the iron ore that was sitting out there, and his message changed to "Stop, thief!" and the thing about red armor. I thought they were connected. Guess not. Turns out that I don't have an issue there, though, since that's not where you get the beetroot. Once I bought some from the priest in Avarrocka and brought it back to Al is where I'm having a problem. Al isn't talking at all. No response. (also, I reread the quest, and it does not specify the fort. It specifies the religion. So it was my mistake)
Higher tier hoe, of course. Should have thought of that. Interestingly, it let me replant the beetroot seeds, but not the wheat.
Well. The fireball is one of the spells given for use in the mission. There's no wither. There's a guardian. When I started the mission, Kalodian was on the horse and the guardian was just there. A few seconds later, Kalodian kinda slid off the horse and onto the guardian. Now, he's sitting on the guardian, doing nothing and not moving. The guardian shoots its laser at me, but is otherwise also stationary. The horse runs around shooting flaming arrows. It's like the visible part of Kalodian has separated from the active part.
The fireballs are acting up as well. When I drop the book, the fireball sits there waiting for me to hit it. If I fire an arrow at it, it flies past whatever I'm aiming at (generally the guardian/Kalodian combo, since that's what I can see) and hits the wall behind. If I hit the fireball with anything other than an arrow, it moves forward about a foot, very slowly, and then stops, and I have to hit it again. Rinse and repeat until it hits something solid (generally the floor) and explodes. In neither case does it do any damage. I haven't succeeded in hitting the horse, because it's running around too fast. I tried hitting anything with my sword, and no damage.
it is much clearer in the newer version of this quest, but basically if you speak to general shadwell while wearing red armor, he would direct you to the zamorak priest to purchase the seeds, so you need to speak to those two npcs in that order for Al to accept the seeds.
As for the arena, there seems to be a bug in MC itself with riding mobs when you go away too far, not too sure if logging out and logging back in would fix the issue. For the fireball, you must hit it with your fist immediately after summoning it, we are looking to change the passive weakness into Attack speed slow (fixes the fireball punching issue).
What about the two quests (32 and 35, I think) that have blank pages in the quest log?
The last few quests (Tax, Mithril Sword, Remnants, Tendrils, Paragons, Dominion Tower) are kind of buggy right now, expect them to be released very soon in the next major update as a separate download with all previous quests completed.

oh did you try walking up to the windmill's third floor?

from renkha: running the 3 commands will give you some diamond armor and weapons, food, and other equipment.
however, all quests up to paragons of misthalin will be auto-completed (you shouldnt speak to any old npcs).

that is... unexpected, can you tell me where this trader is? preferably a screenshot or coord

is the blood of scabaras quest not working for you too?

if you are on apmeken's quest, there is a dungeon in the temple that you need to explore

if you look at the Misthalin map on the front page, its in the "goblin cave" near the river
