posted a message on Cannot launch minecraft after new hard drive, don't understand the crash report

Hi all, my hard drive recently went kaput, and so they put a new one in. I went to reinstall minecraft (reinstalling java first), and the launcher could install, however when trying to play a profile, it starts with the download scroll bar, and then gives me the "Game unexpectedly crashed" error. I hadn't really crashed before with the new launcher, and with my old hard drive, it was a lot of times faster to use an old launcher, so I installed that one.

At least I got an error report with this one. Here is the error report, however I'm really not good with computers and I don't understand it.

I'm not even going to try to salvage this idea...

    Then why post at all?

I think that some of the ideas addressed here are rather good, but I think that Dinnerbone actually has plans for the dragon egg now, withh the ended mite, We'll have to see.

Also make sure to use the search bar to find similar ideas!

posted a message on Improving The Overworld!
Are you kidding? Two completely new trees, new plants, and adding several new blocks to the overworld generation is pretty big.

You wouldn't be able to pick the new seed for the world, would you?

I understand this in small amounts, but it's a little too expensive for a slime ball per block made. How about the slime ball is not used up, but you would need one to do this? Like buckets.

posted a message on List of Subjects that usually turn into Hated threads
So.you made a thread explaining which topics are generally hated upon, but you do concede the fact that a lot of these can be made into good topics if people put some work into it.

Not to mention a lot of these are mention in the sticky thread for suggestions.

Also, if people aren't going to spend the time to read the sticky or use the search box, why would they look at your completely random non-sticky thread before posting their idea?

Later in the comments, people mentioned that the topic is generally liked or not depending on the poster, not the idea. You agreed, and then insulted them.

.....So if you know that it's not based on the suggestion, people ALREADY don't read the sticky, and any suggestion can be good or bad based on the poster, what exactly were you going for here?

I just honestly don't get the point of the thread?

I actually prefer the Portabaalo idea, (real suggestion, look it up.) I think sheep better fit it, pigs would be the ones to FIND the mushrooms

How will villagers share their tokens of love? You don't just give poppies to significant others, that's just weird

posted a message on How Jeb has Ruined the Core Aspect of Minecraft
What I absolutely love about the post is that in the first part, The OP talks about how building used to be the core aspect of the game, and that now it has been ruined.

But he's against adding new blocks because....you can build different things than you used to be able to?
    Nice.

I completely forgot about the iron golems! They can't give out poppies, who knows what illicit substances the villagers will make?

*Sniff....you were always so much cooler than the yellow one, who didn't have a name. A tiny bit rarer.

I guess I'll have to switch to red tulips or some poop

Hello there fellow Minecrafterians. It is with a heavy heart that I address this topic with you. But we must be strong. It is a new day, and we must embrace it, no matter how hard it may be. I just wish it wasn't so difficult to say goodbye.....

As you may know, the rose:

is leaving us, in search of bigger and better things. To fill it's place, the noble poppy plant has stepped in. Although similar, we know the difference.

"But Withnothing!" you say, wiping a tear, "Won't there be rose bushes?"

"Of course", I reply, patting your head knowingly, "But it's just not the same"

Roses were introduced very early in the game, Classic 0.0.20 I believe. These wonderful red flowers have worked their way right into our hearts, and it's going to be tough. So please, join me in recounting your favorite memory with the Minecraft rose, funny or stupid, or even just what you called it. Don't let it's memory die. *Sobs softly into his keyboard*
