So you would want no updates that contain bug fixes any more I guess. Then go back to playing the alpha and beta versions and take your whining with you.

Actually I don't agree at all. An update with nothing but bug fixes is excellent. It is better to focus on getting things right first *BEFORE* starting to add new content IMHO. Otherwise you just keep on adding bugs and bugs. I think this is the way to go. Just my opinion of course.

A couple snapshots in and you're complaining. It's not done yet. Unless it's a big feature, they will distribute the content throughout all the snapshots. You're just getting impatient. And who says all snapshots have to add to survival. I would like other things too. Maybe mapmaking tools, engine rework, anything else. Giving players what they want is hard especially with people like you demoralizing them. They don't always have time to listen to more postive criticism. A couple days ago, Dinnerbone tweeted that he was apartment hunting again and I bet that slowed him down a bit. At least show a little respect.

3.I "demoralize" them because im sick of these low effort snapshots.If they wanna do a bug fix update, fine but they should try to have a bit of both things. Having "mob AI improved" is not a good update.
4. So having 1 out of 5 or so people out means it's excusable to make a crappy snapshot.
This latest snapshot in my opinion is the worst of them all. An atrocity so large it doesn't deserve to be called an update! Bold claims i know but after this post you'll understand. First we need to look at the snapshots that have come out.!.8 snapshot 1 introduced players to some new exciting blocks. The rest consisted of villager AI and mapmaker commands.That last few full updates had content that was useful to survival in some way. In fact the last time i remember being excited for a snapshot was 1.4. Maybe it's just because i wanna see a lot of mobs and ore but ever sense then i havn't really been excited about a new feature. The first snapshot of 1.8 changed that. I feel it's Jeb's time to step down. I understand they can't satisfy everyone but for the love of christ a little effort would help. I would love it if they made an entire update dedicated to mobs or new ores. That way people who want those things will be satisfied for a long time. Of corse there is a problem of only 5 or so people but they have the money to hire at LEAST 1 or 2 people. I would love the game to be taken to a new direction. I wouldn't mind a few simple machines to be added in vinalla.
I just think they arn't doing the best they can. Im positive that some day Minecraft will be rolled over by another game like it but possibly better. That's all for now!

It seems Mojang has been obsessed with new commands lately. So why not make the "interface" i bit easier. At the bottom left you will see a button named commands. Clicking it will bring up the cheats menu.
You see a list somewhat like this.

Did you know that there are hundreds of other people like you that suggest exactly what you are? For starters, no more tiers, even Jeb said so himself! Especially one more powerful than diamond when it is already powerful enough. Secondly, Minecraft is not an industrial game, just as COD is not a sorcery game, hence that would be unfitting. Your redstone suggestion is already very possible in Minecraft, we don't need blocks that simplify redstone mechanics. That's not what Minecraft is about. Absolutely no support! This is completely redundant, unnecessary and unfitting.

2.There is no set theme except for survival and construction. So if i wanna construct more industrial blocks i can't.Also it seems odd how you as a PLAYER are trying to put forward the theme of a GAME made by OTHER PEOPLE. See how silly that sounds when you look at it that way.
The Wither, the Horses? The only ones so far have been the Redstone and Horse updates, and two isn't a lot - you can't expect Mojang to work on mobs every single update!
Horses were in 1.6 and we havn't seen a new mob sense then.Mobs and ores is what i would like to see more of.
Okay, so I guess it's alright for people to go and suggest Herobrine and Villager Warriors? And if Mojang specifically said that something will not be added, then you can't go around suggesting it. All other general rules apply to this as well (like redundancy and such). What exactly do you mean by "ty suggestion"?
Oops. I must have made a typo. Also when i say it's okay to suggest tool tiers i mean just because Jeb said they arn't working on tool tiers doesn't mean they can't be suggested as long as it's good. Again, my bad.
To be honest, this topic has gone nowhere since it started. People have been telling you the fact that this idea is undeveloped, and you haven't done a single thing about it. I also don't recommend you calling your idea "Awesome" in the topic title, as just because you think your idea is awesome, doesn't mean it is, nor everyone else thinks so. You should also make your topic title something specific to the suggestion, not just something vague like "A new ore".
what in the He** are you talking about i am just doing the plant with loads of features instead and by the time i come out with the plant post the mod will be almost finished so yeah if you said I "left with my tail between my legs" then you where highly mistaken

ok this idea is still in development ok so cut the crap and it will be somewhat common i'd say about the 50 - 74 layer so not too common but easy enough to find if you dig on those layers for a bit and the weapons i'd say a spiked chain that has a lvl ll poison on it and more weapon ideas coming soon and i would appreciate some ideas from you guys to and you could find poison plants where you can take any weapon to the anvil and put the poison plant and the weapon in it and you have a poisoned weapon and you can put the weapon and more poisoned plants in the anvil to make the poison stronger and if you don't like the name of the ore post you're suggestions for a new name thx and if the weapon is made out of an ore that is completely made out of poison then it would probably last awhile befor the weapon breaks

A snapshot is just a tiny piece of an update ment to be played and tested for bugs. Nothing really to test in the latest snapshot.
