"Gaming Snobbery"? I was simply stating the cold hard truth. The majority (almost 100%) said that this idea needed to be improved. If you don't like listening to opinions then, well, go to a different forum ( I prefer Off-Topic), because you are going to get a lot of them here on the "Discussion" one. Also you previously stated many times "Why did I come back?". If you don't like it here on MCF, then the simple solution would be you to leave.

I have seen you argue with the exact same user in other threads, and I don't understand why you should have any reason to hate him (or her). He has the right to express an opinion. Also, you stated that you don't want to hear his opinion if he is just repeating it, but other people use these forums too and they want to hear his opinion. You also said that "nobody cares", when it is more like "I don't care". Other people use these forums and you cannot speak for everyone, or act like the forums revolve around you. There are other people on the forums that do care. What I also find funny is that he didn't repeat any opinions and it is a fact that Minecraft is not an RPG game. I think that you need to think before you speak. It is not that I am defending him, it is that I am going against you and arguing about the situation that you have brought up, because I do not believe that it is right!
So i think there is some confusion as to what's being said.
1. The reason i dismissed his opinion is because he said it in two ways.
The way he worded it sounded like "other people like this opinion and i do too.
Also he sounded REALLY snobby about his opinion being fact the "cold hard truth"
2. I made one other response. And also i would respond to anybody if their comment sounded snobbish or whatever. I like how you try playing the E-Detective but if you looked farther back, i've been doing this for a full year now. This is nothing new.
3. You have something with the nobody cares thing, my bad.
4.I can link minecraft to The Legend Of Zelda and Pokemon, Potions.
Again we go with the snobbery. Minecraft can have as many RPG elements as the creators want. You have absolutely no say in the dev process, RPG or not.
5. This one i wanted to save for last.
So immediately fall back on the defense of I wish you wern't so rude.
If you had said that about 2 posts ealier we wouldn't be doing this right now.
That obviously wasn't your main problem because if it was you would've should've COULD'VE said that erlier.
As for why im rude sometimes.... I honestly only have one answer and that's because i hate the Minecraft fanbase.

You have some pretty decent ideas that could probably be modified a little and explained a little clearer. I personally would love some more weapons as I feel minecraft pvp has some good potential but it's not being fully used. Maybe some ideas like the stick launcher are a bit farfetched, but something that would be super cool might be upgradeable weapons, forging gems into weapons to increase durability, damage, chance of critical hit? I'm not quite ready to support your ideas but you've got some okay ideas.

I feel that minecraft should have more weapons that meet different gameplay styles.
Whip:
Crafted with 1 ;leather and 3 string.
It's designed to hit multiple times within a second or two.
Damage: 1 half heart.
By right clicking you can grab and throw mobs. Damage is doubled when you hit a mob in midair. (Damage keeps doubling the more you hit the mob in midair.
This is used for players that like to use lightning fast combat.
PFW (Primitive firearm weapon)
Crafted with flint 2 sticks and one iron.
It is designed to do a lot of damage with a slow fire rate. It turns an ingot into sharp metal shards.

Actually if you do a little bit of research you would find a couple.
Im not gonna lie. This thread needs improvement. It's a bit vegue but with a little clearer explanation it could become a great suggestion.
Also the fighting the devs thing reminds me of The Binding Of Isaac.

Any new blocks
Any new mobs

It does 1.5 health of damage
