I'll expand on this later in this application, but as a quick summary: My current PC goes under extreme load when running Skype and Minecraft together. I will be building a new PC in the extremely near future, but as of this time, Skype is fairly difficult to run. However, I can use it, and it appears Microsoft has improved Skype's performance as of late. I do have a microphone and headphones. For future reference, my Skype username is jalordaserpent7. I do not care if others discover my account.
Country of Residence: I currently live in the grand ol' nation of the United States. If you picked up a hint of favouritism from that sentence, do not let looks deceive you. I'm not very proud of my nation as of right now.
Ban Record: There are 2 answers to this question; there is a short answer, and a long answer. The short answer? Yes, I have. The long answer? Yes, I have been banned on 1 server to this date. My Minecraft account was created in 2012, and I was banned from a server shortly after my account creation. Back then, I was considerably less mature than I am now, and the reason I was banned was something along of the lines of "Breaking spawn blocks when the rules said not to". I cannot remember the specific reason, as it was 3-4 years ago. My track record since then has been spotless. I seriously hope my one small occurance does not hinder my chances of being accepted. I would love to be a part of a community such as yours, and I will explain further down below.
Build Examples: This section will be difficult to fill out. I do not have any build examples as of this time. Here are my reasons: I'm currently coming back from a 1-2 year break from Minecraft. 1 to 2 years ago, I was, and still am, a member of a community known as Worlds Collide for around 3 years. I've made many friendships on that Minecraft server, and at one point, was a top-level developer of said Minecraft server. Back then, I had many examples of my work, and the form of which I archived said examples was through YouTube videos and tutorials. If you cannot already tell, I am a very avid Redstone user, and I prefer the technical aspect of Minecraft over any other aspect. Some of my old Redstone creations included an auto-smelter, a Cave Spider EXP farm, a Blaze EXP farm of my own design, a Piston Elevator, and so on and so forth. Keep in mind that this was before 1.6, and pre-1.6 was a very different and difficult time for Redstone users. So you may be asking, why not provide the videos? I do not have these videos of my work anymore. I backed them up a year or two ago, but since lost said backup, and during that time I got my YouTube account terminated for being a complete idiot it regards to copyright infringement. I cannot recreate these Redstone creations because I cannot remember them. I am coming back from a long break. I hope this section does not hinder my chances. I can easily prove my Redstone knowledge if required to do so (I've recalled quite a bit of it), and perhaps I can attempt to create something.
About Myself: I am a struggling high-school Junior with horrible academic habits. I could be considered emotionally unstable at some times, but recently I have been getting a whole lot better at handling it. I've been to 2 therapists in my life. I do not have any known diseases, syndromes, or allergies. I've been through 2 long bouts of depression in recent years, but I feel I will never go through those horrible experiences ever again. I'm not a very social person, but I try to be. I love anything technical, and I plan to get a degree in Computer Science or Informational Technologies if I am able to be accepted into a university. My hobbies include an over-abundant amount of indulgence in the Japanese otaku community (meaning I am "filthy weeb trash") and programming in several languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
I have been playing Minecraft for 3-4 years now. I don't know the exact date, but I created my Minecraft account during the 1.1 patch update. I still to this date hold by my opinion that Minecraft 1.2.5 was the most stable Minecraft release, with Minecraft 1.3 and Minecraft 1.3.1 being the most unstable Minecraft releases. The most enjoyable aspect of Minecraft to me is the technical aspect. This does not mean just Redstone. I love anything in regards to mobs, glitches, exploits, and really anything that your average Minecraft player would not bat an eye to. I love Vanilla Minecraft specifically, and I've never really found an interest in game-changing mechanics found in some plugins today.
Quite soon, I will be building a new PC for myself. For the entirety of my life, I've used inferior PCs due to a lack of funds. However, a chance arose not too long ago to change that, and I am taking advantage of that chance. The maximum amount of frames I've ever gotten on Minecraft is around 50, and recently I've only been able to reach the mid twenties, as my current PC's time is rapidly approaching. As I said in a previous section, with my new PC, I will be able to communicate much easier, due to the fact that Skype will not be under constant load. Communication is a vital ingredient to learning about others, and I want to be of a part of this community as anyone else in here.
The main reason I would like to join Bats is because I want new experiences and new players to interact with. The old community that I am still a part of has extremely died down since its inception, and the Minecraft server is practically a ghost town as of this time. I still interact with its long-term members daily, and they can be considered my first friendships I have ever made. However, due to the Minecraft server's inactivity, I feel no need to continue on it since I last joined it 1-2 years ago. Bats looks like an extremely friendly and mature community, with a (hopefully) active userbase for a small community. I would absolutely adore being a part of this community, as I am looking for something fresh and new. Recently I've revitalized my interest in Minecraft, and this community would be the best way to give that interest a boost. As expectations go, I do not expect much. Ideally, I would like a open and warm community that treats its members with respect, and I can easily imagine this community being a top contender.
