hey, new mod spotlight, check out IPodmail, he posted this spotlight a while ago, but it outlines the mod quite well, and leaves some area of mystery so it does not ruin the mod for you! Thought I would let you know that this was done, put that under the video section plz!

i find the current setup kinda awkward becuase every time i want to cast a spell i have to stand still (my fingers cannot reach the other keys with either interupting my mouse hand or keyboard hand.
well i can but then i get massive cramps after i am done
I'll add a magicka bar and you can scroll through a list of magicks to see their combinations
i need some help, you say this mod does not conflict with ANY mod, so i don't see the need to list my 55-56 mods...but my issue is that i am able to choose the spells i want to use,but i cannot use them...
Are you holding any staff? You need a staff to cast spells
This is amazing!. But I do have 1 suggestion. If you don't want to have to keep going into your spell book, can you make a button that automatically sets the spells for you.
I won't do a button like that but i'll make somethign like in Magicka where you can scroll to see different magicks

And please tell me which other mods you are using.
Maybe try installing Minegicka and Forge only on a clean jar. Because other mods may somehow modify base block or base tile entity
This mod is great, very fun! There is a glitch where if you die your spells glitch up and you cant cast them any more, it might be fixable by reloading minecraft. Also, i think being able to cast spells on yourself like in the actual game would be fun! Just a suggestion.
EDIT: Also, i would love to see this multiplayer compatable!

I would just like to say something about the install process. You do not need to put any files into the minecraft.jar file. Just create the MineGika folder inside the .minecraft folder and put the files in as showed and then put Minegicka1B0.zip file into the mods folder and it works just fine. Makes it easier to revert if you have conflicts....
But this is a magic mod and i'm not sure if Jeb will agree with adding a magic mod into minecraft

How about an item that you can hack in with TMI or NEI that unlocks all of the spells for you. It could be used to give specific spells to specific people when this becomes multiplayer. Admins could disable the temples from giving you certain spells but could hack in that special item to give particular spells to trusted players.

When mods are updated to 1.3 i don't think you'll need to worry about that anymore
It's complication depends on what you'd like to do
In my opinion Minegicka isn't complicated
