    Bug report: harvesting by right clicking will vaporize any villagers standing in the crop. It was a farmer villager who couldn't harvest because I had mobGriefing disabled so maybe the fact that he was attempting to harvest at the same time caused the problem. This was in 1.12.2.

    Seems a bit cruel to expect us to know how to compile it ourselves if he's advertising it on the first page. If it's not really out yet then don't put up a big banner telling us it's out.

    Linux is case sensitive, windows is not. Are the foldernames uppercase when they're not supposed to be?

    Frozen Ocean biome was removed from worldgen in 1.7.2. That's why people aren't used to it.

    Assuming the other reply is right about the cause, try removing half the mods and starting up a new world. Check if the creative screen still crashes you. If it doesn't then the 1 problem mod is in the half you removed. If it does then it's in the half you left in. Start either adding or removing mods in 50% batches until you narrow down which one it is.

    Well I finally figured out why it wasn't working for me. It was because I was using Java 7 still. Java 8 isn't required for vanilla Minecraft but apparently some mods require it. As for why I was using Java 7 there used to be a bug where Java 8 wasn't compatible with Forge 1.7.2 or earlier. Don't know if they ever fixed it, I just kept using Java 7. As it is I just installed Java 1.8.0_90 without uninstalling the old Java install so I can use either one.

    Then this is probably because of the change in the wording for chestgen hooks. You may have to update some of the files by hand (or wait for someone else to do them). How recently did you download your copy of ruins? I thought AtomicStryker said he had updated those a few weeks back (2 or 3 pages back on the chat here).

    There are a lot of Ruins that contain Chests, but only a small handful of these chests actually generate any loot. This is a bug, right?? Surely that's not done on purpose.

    Is this on 1.9? Or are you using some of the obsolete ruins?

    Just out of random curiosity why does the title still mention HD textures when vanilla has done that since 2013? 1.5 was the version that no longer required a mod to do HD textures.

    Just downloaded the latest Forge 1.9 (1865) and the latest ruins for 1.9 and it's crashing. It's the only mod I have installed so I know it's not a conflict between 2 mods. Do I need to use an earlier version of Forge?

    Ruins gets it's structures from txt files in your mods folder. mods/resources/ruins has folders for every biome, plus one for "generic" and one for "optional". You just need to move the txt files from optional to generic.

    When using IInventory is there any way to get it to pick between different types of blocks? I've got a mod for adding tons of records and I'm trying to get a chest to randomly pick between albums only in a certain genre.

    I like the themed ruins too. I've just started on a few that follow a theme of off-world scientists landing small ships the size of a small shipping container with various science stuff in them. Just little "research pods", but when you start finding at least 1 every square km you start realizing just how big a project it really is!
