Believe me, Middle school is a lot of fun, you just have to relax, and keep your grades up, because if you fail a class, well then it's not fun! Hello everyone,

I wish I was here on a happier note, but unfortunately I am not. In my approximate one and a half years of map making, releasing multiple maps some popular, some not, and making many friends along the way in my journey to becoming the map maker I am today, I will be retiring from map making entirely, upon release of my last, and final map. I have realized that I am not near as excited about making maps anymore, and my maps aren't like they used to be. Many new map makers are coming out of the shadows, and are releasing maps, far greater than my own, at a much faster pace. I am also starting high school this September, and am beginning to learn to drive, and I am finding map making is taking up a large portion of my life, and I need as much time as I can if I am going to make it through and live a life I will be happy about, and map making is only holding me back. I will still be on the forums now and then, checking up on old friends, and seeing how they have improved, but you won't see any posts in the MCPE: Maps section by me. I hope you understand my reasoning, and I am sorry that I have to retire, but my time has passed and I need to move on to a new time in my life. I will still be making graphics, and you can keep in touch with me on Twitter, @Wild07010, or you can PM here on the forums. Thanks for helping me become the map maker I am today, and good luck in your future affairs.

Open iExplorer, go to Minecraft PE > Documents > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds > your 0.8.x world.
Go into the files for the 0.8.x world, delete db.
Go into the files for your 0.9.0 world, copy db and paste it into the 0.8.x world.
Done. Your 0.8.x world is infinite.

But there will be an ugly border around the old map, it will be hard to remove without MCEdit. Hopefully it's updated soon for 0.9.0.

On Andriod devices, you can also get PocketInvEditor, and make it infinite from there There is an option to make it infinite in the world options. I don't know if your an android player or not.

It is possible to edit stuff with 0.8.x worlds, transfer it to MCPE, and make it infinite with PocketInvEditor but none of the blocks added in 0.9.0 are in this version of MCEdit.
