You can't mod an unfinished game and then complain about when something new patches it up.
As far as the community being split, oh well, it will be back soon.

Umm... I dont know where your getting this information from. Notch has been VERY busy with minecraft. Not THAT busy but you know what I mean.. You gotta remember Notch is married, hes starting to move onto a life of marriage and family, but that wont be for a while. Right now he's working on minecraft more then he has ever been in the past few months. Jeb is the one who helps him alot. According to your post your saying "Im not saying Notch is lazy or anything.... IM NOT TROLLING... I dont want to sound like a troll" well my friend, you actually are sounding like a troll. If you dont like the game then you can leave. Making games like these takes alot of time buddy so thats why Notch is hiring people so that he can make things go easier. Jeb is busy too and he DOES get help alot so basically its not just Notch in charge of everything, they're a team over there. Notch can be called the main guy since he started all of this and might hire important people to do coding whenever he is busy. Notch has not given up on minecraft, and its very likely he wont for a while until probably atleast the Full version of Minecraft comes out in November. But yeah Jeb has been doing alot lately but come on give Notch a break, he's been doing years of coding by himself... let him atleast stretch for once.
Btw I dont see a big deal to make on if Notch is very busy. All game makers are going to be busy. Get used to it.
If I stopped showing up for work because I was married take a guess what would happen

Could you please not use gay texture packs then expect people to understand?
I tried to recreate what you did and it didn't do anything.
Please enlighten me.
I swear to god this forum has to be the largest collection of 12 year olds and uneducated people I've ever seen in my life.
"gay" and "retard" are not acceptable insults to anything. Ever.

Your first mistake was saying defrag and ssd in the same sentence. SSD's don't need to be defragmented. That is the beauty of the drive. It takes the same amount of time to access a file anywhere on the drive.
Thanks for proving that you don't know anything about about the topic.
I said they fail faster if they defrag
Jesus, what on Earth?
**** this ****. I'm going back to /g/ where people at least pretend to know what the **** they're saying

I have a $350 computer and I get 30/40 fps on 1.8 but then again I am on Linux (though I do drop down to 2fps in the rain if I don't play this game on Classic GNOME). On Windows 7 I cannot even play the game because of the lag. Ya'll have to remember Notch didn't expect this game to sell like this. I dont think he even expected to get over 10,000 people to buy it. He probably started this in java as a small project and it just took off...
Since you called Gnome2 classic gnome I'm assuming you're on Ubuntu?
Ditch gnome and get XFCE. You can still use your woobly windows and whatnot but it's overall less resource heavy.
XFCE is what I used on my laptop before I stopped using GUIs all together(I only use it for programming and taking notes. a gui just gets in the way)

****, why are so many people this stupid?
First, that statement doesn't even make any sense. Second, you don't.
That isn't how it works, though. You should always have a number of projects on the go, otherwise you'll get stale.
I'm sorry, are you saying a programming language that needs a virtual machine to run could ever possibly be optimised?
While we're at it lets say python would have been a good language for minecraft

He has to re-code the freaking main code to fix the smallest bug. Modders only have to change one tiny thing. Again I'd like to see you code and fix a game. Don't call Notch lazy if you couldn't do better.
No. If you re-code the main code of your program when a bug shows up your an idiot.
A) You can usually limit the bug to one object or function
:cool.gif: The bug can usually be fixed at one line or variable.
If you "re-code it", then... you're just too dumb to be a programmer.

Actually the 360 version will be able to be played on the Kinect as well. And yes I am pretty sure it will still be in java, just on a disk that can be loaded into the xbox or downloaded from their game section online. Notch seems almost sure that it will be released in November and that would be smart. It will open up huge sales for the game on Black Friday and for Christmas, meaning they can make alot of money off the game being released that early. So I am sure that they will find a way to get it all out in November. Notch wouldn't miss a chance to make money like that. They will probably have the updates done through the live system on xbox and it will just be like the pc version. Except it shouldn't lag as much as the PC version cause it is ran off the xbox 360.
Sorry for late reply.
Edit: Here is one of the many sources: http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/713281/minecraft-coming-to-360-with-kinect/
Making a JVM for the 360 for one game seems a bit excessive. The 360s CPU isn't exactly god-tier as it is, and Java is a memory hog as well. I'm best assuming it's being written in CPP

Feb 20, 2012You need to tell eclipse where the libraries are:Posted in: General Gaming
Right click on project -> Properties -> go to Java Build Path -> on the "Source" tab click "add folder" and select "res" then go to the "Libraries" tab click "add JARs" and select all the jar files in the "lib" folder.
